All I want is for management to demonstrate the will to implement cost-cutting measures, especially because I know there is plenty of room to do so.

I'd like to direct your attention to the Competent Person's Report for the updated Segilola mine (2021). Specifically, page 172 contains extensive information that may be relevant to our discussion.

Perseus Mining's All-In Sustaining Cost (AISC) for the 2023 calendar year was US$984 per ounce of gold. they are also in West Africa.

This is why I find it somewhat irritating when I hear interview questions like "How do you manage to keep your AISC so low?". I am like - Please give me a break.

I've consistently highlighted our elevated spending, although there was some progress last year. I'm confident we can make further improvements, as I have extensive experience and knowledge of this region in Nigeria.

It's challenging to answer that question definitively because AIC depends on numerous factors and can vary significantly depending on the terrain.

The key point is that costs should be kept to an absolute minimum.

I mentioned Endeavour because I heard their name in an interview. They have a mining operation adjacent to the newly acquired land for the Douta Project.

My main point is that investors evaluate a company's management team and its ability to effectively execute its plans. If there are concerns about the management's track record, decision-making, or ability to deliver on promises, it can undermine investor confidence and limit share price growth. When there is a plan, actual results should closely align with what was planned to inspire confidence and trust in any future plans.

Perhaps when we achieve an average AISC of $967, similar to Endeavour's, which showcases their ability to control costs while sustaining production, we might attract some attention. While we await the audited financial statements next year for concrete evidence of these efforts, it would be beneficial for management to actively demonstrate that cost management is a priority, rather than relying solely on higher gold prices for profitability.

The balance c/f for office furniture as of January 1, 2022, was US$1,175,069. There were US$668,936 in additions in 2022 and US$696,094 in 2023.

The balance c/f for motor vehicles as of January 1, 2022, was US$2,059,982. There were US$148,862 in additions in 2022 and US$625,549 in 2023.

Office furniture and Motor Vehicles purchases total $5,374,492 if my arithmetic is correct. Over 2021, 2022, and 2023, this gives an average of $1.791m per year.

Do you care to mention which of my questions ( from the ones to the CEO and the ones at the beginning of this thread, are not legitimate? I believe they represent a summary of all the points I have made since i started posting.

I could be mistaken. I am not about to sieve through the whole board. I can only say what I took away from a comment I read ( or thought I read) was that no information was given about gold sold. I know it could not have ever originated from me because I never considered that risk. I believe I crosschecked and found that to be so. The mistake probably arose by me forgetting that financials are only released a few months after.

HOWEVER, it is still a risk, no matter how minute, that because there is only one customer, cash may not come in. The risk is highly unlikely I admit, now remembering that that detail is usually given later. The format of the update was different from those given in the part. This made me suspicious that perhaps management was trying to hide or bury some adverse information. It is one of the different tricks employed by companies.

Which of my questions at the beginning of this thread and the questions sent to the CEO have you or anyone answered? Have your answers not been solely "Oh but look at the gold price. None of that matters. The price of gold and Douta project. More gold under and around Segilola is bound to come". etc

If you do not know the answer to a question, ignore the question. Maybe someone else will. It is not a difficult thing to do.

If questions are answered like that with verifiable information, even if a short-seller or anyone with malicious intent started a discussion or asked questions here, the answers given would counter any such attack. This would be good information for any potential investor and allay similar concerns had by an existing one.

You have to bear in mind that people have legitimate questions and need clarification. it is such a shame the IR department is not performing optimally. Such a shame.

A great way to have answered my question was:

I do not see why gold would not have been sold in Q2. It hs never been an issue. the reason you did not see the amount of gold sold is because this is only given at the MD & A.

It is on record that I sent Investor Relations a message about that Thor app scam and they did not reply to me. It is also on record in this very forum that I asked Thor to establish a verified Youtube presence to counter the negative publicity the Thor App scam was giving Thor.

The shares register also has the number of shares I own. the CEO has my name, he can confirm :)
