I think you are missing the £650k that Bixx Limited owes Vela? That is pretty much covered by Bixx's investment in ARB.

The current market cap is actually bonkers. The value of the investments and cash in the bank EXCLUDING the £2.35m invested SGSC is above the current trade prices going through. That is despite all the investments being underwater!

This is purely sentiment driven and down to poor communication from the BoD.

Vela have nothing to worry about, and should name and shame the broker.

Apart from the embarrassment, today's RNS changes nothing. TruSpine will be the big losers as their placing was in effect under-subscribed. Vela don't have any obligation to take up the placing.

Vela's cash position is unchanged and have been allotted shares for free at the moment. Worst case is the shares get cancelled.

Fund raise talks about another "rapid" move towards commercialisation. We'll still be waiting for news in 2026 then
