I’m a little surprised by the results as know a few family and friends no longer considering stopping at the Premier Inns after they closed a load of the pubs/restaurants next door.

Shares held within ISA's or SIPP's dividend income is tax free

Steady as she goes, with a nice 8%+ dividend tucked in my S&S ISA. What's not to like.

In layman's terms am of correct in thinking they'll pay. 0.75p per quarter starting in Dec covering the 3rd quarters upto 30 Sept n also a special dividend of 3p, paying 1.5p now and the next when at the end of this year?

I believe you had to own shares by close of business 1 July for the entitlement?

For those of you panicking, it's ex rights day. So the rights entitlement should be showing in your portfolios to balance the loss.

Wasn't the 280 to 245 drop due to Trump tariffs, now calming down as more deals negotiated, so share price recovering.

I’d expect it to drift lower today to around 42/43, as no accepted offer on the table

Volume has picked up a little of late.

Still a 9% + dividend.

Possibility of base rate coming down, effecting the whole of the banking sector. + maybe profit taking from yesterday

If interest rates start to come down quickly, £5.40 is conservative. They were £6.50 in Feb 22, and then base rate started to rise

Most REITs trading at a discount to NAV, market sentiment against them. I'm adding as will turn eventually and good dividend for my ISA.
