Even on commercial success and that is no where near a given, it would likely take a minimum of 5-6 years to get any new discovered commercial gas feeding into the Irish grid .

A typical divestment deal would take 12 + months with all the legal and sovereign , governance, title, licence changes etc and this would only be after an agreement between a buyer and PRD had been agreed .

Prospective resources are the lowest classification for potential hydrocarbon accumulation.
