Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
APEC money is not coming. PVR will provide a counselor service to those attending the AGM. Limited spaces available for those who are finding it hard to deal with this fact. Free verbal diarrhea available to all attendees.
Lads everyone here, including myself, would love to see the back of Junior considering what has gone on over the years. Only problem is who do you replace him with. He goes PVR is gone. 90% chance the money isn't coming. Where does that leave us. 1. Plunkett and T5 taking us over with Junior getting a seat at their table. 2. PVR selling the Exola boxed Barryroe to keep the show on the road. 3. Firesale where we get Uck all after all debts/redundancy payments are paid. Surprising this is still 5p. Only for the big funds not jumping ship. There must be some boys and girls in big offices under serious heat for investing money in this Circus!!!
Hopefully it's not only Junior playing his trump card to get the price up for a placing!
Full Hollywood Action Drama with so much "Hope", that great American belief word. Jeff Daniels to star as Junior skippering his family's last tanker/survey boat through huge seas to bring back the goods so that the Time Square oil generator can supply the power to light up one more New Years party. Danny Devito to play Manyana/Sobeit:)!
When the dust settles they'll have to make a movie about Providence Resources. It's got it all:)!
No big budge in Dublin. Hopefully some AGM soldiers will return with some news from the Front:)!
Now you're talking Manyana! T5 waiting here in all but name. Power behind the throne as one might say. Junior will be offered a seat at the new table when the T5 Republic rises from the PVR ashes. Oh well!
Manyana,
One problem with your argument as you say so yourself is the share price. The only entity that suits is a buyer not a holder/seller. As we've heard enough already, Barryroe sounds great on paper, your valuation falls into three birds in a bush territory. The reason O'Sullivan's departure rang alarms for me is to do with business loyalty. If there was a reason to stay around after all these years he would have and O'Reilly would have accommodated his old friend/partner in crime. His departure looks more someone trying to help out an old friend by jumping from a sinking ship so those onboard might stay afloat until sometime rescue party come along. Maybe the identity of the rescue/takeover party didn't sit well with Sully and he wiped his hands of it. Time will tell!
Morning Chef! Don't know what COSL are thinking but something absolutely stinks about this whole affair. The way it is looking now is that the delay or absolute lack of any genuine contract is a ploy to destroy PVR and get it's assets on the cheap. When you look at the results of Lolar you even have to start questions those "assets". Either Junior has been taken for a ride like he has done to the rest of us for the last ten years or he is in on the whole thing and really is the absolute scumbag that has frequently revealed himself to be over the years. The issue of John O'Sullivan being let go is the thing that has rung alarm bells for me. There's a very bad smell lingering from this "Re-engineering". Whatever the Uck that is supposed to be I will never know. Wing and a prayer stuff now!
Up Fake Tan Creek without a paddle!
Thanks for the reply earlier. So true what you say about bricks and mortar although timing has a lot to do with success there to just like other investment sectors. Every day of nonsense here I thank my lucky stars that I listened to an uncle who'd done well for himself. About 7/8 years ago when he knew I was dabling in shares he told me to put most of my spare cash in property that he'd dabled in shares for years and only ever broke a little over even. He's done well out of property, so glad I took the advice considering the last 7/8 years here. Saying that if you bought and sold here at the right times you'd be a happy punter!!
Manyana would Barryroe by being placed in into a subsidiary company, Exola, not mean that it is ring fenced from other aspects of PVR's exploration activities in relation to tax issues?
The money's definitely coming. That's why the price hasn't tanked over the last few days, wait?
"Show me the MONEY Jer Yi!!!"
Sitting on my porch rocking away for near on 10 year now Partner:)!
Great find Chef! Hopefully there is a lot of truth to what he is saying otherwise, "Altogether now!", "She'll be coming around the ....."

Video of Rambling Tony and the PVR board, or what's left of them, waiting for the money to land!
Any ideas what the placing price is going to be? reckon 5p in London, 6c in Dublin.
Gist of it is that, after recent re engineering , PVR is now basically operating as a Paddy Power franchise and that when they announce the lack of a funds from China next week they will be selling betting slips on a high risk high reward punt at Barryroe. I wonder who Paddy O'Reilly had to call to get that bit of free advertising for his new venture from his high street serviced office. Thought there might be some comment from O'Reilly in the papers today. Didn't think it would be this dung! He's on some wicket but for how long?
