1Cag and Manyana are right. There are that many people looking to cash in here after all the drama that PVR will struggle to stay over 40-50p no matter what the results. As Manyana says on positive Barryroe results Exola will be sold and PVR (why would Junior give up such a reliable cash cow) will focus on other assets maybe retaining a small percentage. Only once this process is out of the way and PVR has graduated as an oil and gas company can the share price move onto the £ territory/multiples. Slot of water to flow before that happens!
Many I am definitely am not putting words in your mouth or possibly could:)! I think Sir Nigel sums up far better what I was trying to say. Also I am Irish and have been on Spanish Point Beach and Dunes a few times. It is because of such beautiful coastline that people are so worried about offshore activity. I fully understand the difference in the locations and I also made it clear that it was a government oversight and not PVR. Was just pointing out that there are that many concerns from both Investors (previous PVR bluff) and Environmentalists (previous destruction of beautiful coastline) that the Barryroe campaign will be no cake walk and there will be many eyes on it be it a financial success or an environmentall close call. All the the best!!
Manyana just pointing out that it's indirectly on record that PVR didn't perform due diligence on the condition of the Transocean rig the last time and it cost them big time one way or another. Hence the need to tick every box this time. They've already been caught up in an departmental oversight already. In relation to the weather and state of the art equipment. The Icemax used at Druid/Drombeg was as good as it gets for that type of vessel yet had to bow to the Atlantic weather when things got a little hairy. Luckily all ended well in terms of the environment. A lot of people watching this space(sorry Junior) at the moment. Many wanting no space at all. All the best!
Gee don't know if you are being sarcastic but the correction was necessary as although one was used incorrectly both could be considered relevant. Manyana adequately answers your other question as usual.
Extensive winter drilling:)!
Manyana with Transocean rig issues at Barryroe and rumoured case of extreme down well pressure issues at Druid/Drombeg fresh on the enviromentalists memory no one at PVR will be treating this as a walk in the park. Align that to possible extension winter drilling in the shallow but sometimes wild West Celtic Sea!
1 Cag as you say we're back in bird in the hand territory. Mamms you let them know how we role around here. I remember watching a surfing movie called Endless Summer. Idealist indeed. I think they could make a movie about PVR called Endless Scutter. Although they do say good things come to those who wait! We've certainly done that around here:)!
Uck the Craic is good in Cricklewood:)! The return Manbeit sure put the cat among the pigeons!
Was wondering the same thing myself 1Cag. Took it as they are after acquiring exist survey data for a fee. RNS doesn't clarify this apart from the mention of "2017". A bit vague! As usual we join the dots. Onwards and onwards:)! A swallow might just make a summer says you:)!
Good to see you back about Sobeit or from now on Manyana! Work with some Spanish lads and they use your moniker the odd time referring to something that will happen when it happens. Couldn't be more apt here for our sins similar to my moniker referring to the mythical land of youth, as well you know. Here's to the final run in for the umpteenth time! Manyana:)!
More like a flock in a forest here 1Cag!
People weren't expecting Sobeit to reappear as a Spanish Pseudo Messiah either:)! A linguistic Lazarus who's second coming could not be foretold by John the Baptist himself! My God!
Ya 1Cag gas and energy supply seem to be the company line. I think talk of oil gives people on the West Coast, myself included, oil spill nightmares and serves no purpose when trying to get things over the line!
Good read and shows the PR angle and direction the oil and gas industry in Ireland has taken in relation to make the public comfortable with exploration off a pristine coastline. Something tells me that this An Taisce litigation is just a hiccup and good news is on the way for those concerned with Barryroe. Either that or they're getting their WTF in early:)!
Commentator did mention the Irish Offshore Operators Association report out today. Available here.

Sounded nervous 1Cag! The frat boys might have rolled out Junior but people in Ireland are suspicious of verbal D!
Not a whole pile. Promoted and focused on gas and energy supply transition and security for Ireland. Spoke about Barryroe as a discovered resource ready to be brought to production, the significance of a successful Nexen campaign to the Irish economy and Europas plans to tap into existing infrastructure at Corrib if they are successful with their license. Show commentator mentioned if current planned works are successful oil and gas industry could be world 11 billion euros and 1500 jobs to the Irish economy each year. The PR drive is in full flow. Here's to more good PR in the courts today!
Hugh MacKay of Europa currently on the mic!
Discussion on RTE Radio 1 this morning between 7 and 9 on the benefits of oil and gas exploration to the Irish economy. Waiting for the discussion to come on at the moment. People may be able to listen online on the RTE website. Belated Happy New Year to all. Hoping for a good result in the court today! All the best to all for 2019!
Either way I think we're finally on a winner. Irish system made enough of a ballsup on the Apple situation in Athenry. If they uck this one up they'll be on a hat-trick!
