Lifted from the London Stock Exchange web site.
An auction is a period where no automatic execution takes place in order to concentrate available liquidity. During an auction call period, orders can be entered, modified or deleted. Following the auction call period an auction uncrossing takes place. The auction uncrossing generates the auction uncrossing price. The opening auction sets the opening trading price in a SETS security. The opening auction call period starts at 7.50am and the opening auction ends at 8.00am, subject to 30-second random period(s) and any price extensions or market order extensions. The closing auction sets the closing price in a SETS security. The closing auction call period starts at 4.30pm and the closing auction ends at 4.35pm, subject to 30-second random period(s) and any price or market order extensions.
They need revenue. They are burning £5m a year and with revenues of £140k from last year and a statement saying this years revenue is going to back loaded in the year, this can't go on. All eyes will be on it.......
It will be interesting to see the share holders list after this placing has been completed and settles down.
Agree with everything you say, unfortunately James put himself in that position. Selling your own stock in AIM 99% of the time will come back and bite you in the backside. I think BIDS have great opportunities they just need to deliver. I said it last year if they miss their end of year targets there will be trouble and they were wide of the mark (£140k). If they miss them this year that will be a very tough pill to swallow and if they come in with a poultry £140k as per last year I think they will have problems. This is a big 6 months ahead for BIDS and James to make this work.
Not sure that no progress is a fair reflection as we have all the approvals in place for power generation and downstream approvals including the EIA. Agreed the PPA has been a bit of a **** show. Without any power generation and downstream poles and wire approvals we have no real way of monetising anything (gas/solar). I am interesting to see the scope of the funding and how it is obtained (debt/equity) and hopefully will include funding for more wells / solar.
Don't count your chickens my friend, this is AIM after all. Steady as she goes :)
you'll need to transfer them into a standard stocks and shares account.
Not sure this RNS constitutes and update. They have taken the second tranche of the loan but are not telling us anything else. "The Board is pleased with the progress that is being made by Big Sofa as regards current trading and the implementation of its strategic plan and can also confirm that the work with regard to its proposed acquisition by the Company is progressing well." Would they care to elaborate on "progressing well"? Not getting a good vibe here at all.
I'll believe it when I see it. I have seen many stocks in suspension where they have been hyped before the re-listing and failed to deliver.
Another player looks like Matt Lynch, CSO since 2009. Prior experience looks limited.
Looking at the accounts (I am no accountant) but the thing that strings me is they are heavily geared. Hence the Net Worth Value.
Digging around their website I understand the technology as I come from a technical background. I think the big differentiator is the API they are talking about producing as this will allow integration into existing platforms making the bar to entry lower for customers and their existing systems. I am interested to know the business model around pricing (storage usage, download count or a blend of both). Using Amazon S3 as their storage platform solves a lot of the security and scaling issues. This will allow the business to grow with minimal capital costs but this is where the selling model becomes important to make sure the margins around operational costs are covered with sensible profit margin. Interesting times ahead.
Pure guessing game and no point to it. Until this comes out of suspension and no RNS its pure conjecture. I suspect the first RNS will be when it does come out of suspension.
I reckon so. This is a longer play and also you'll get excellent dividend yeild on it all the time they pay it. On that note they have never not paid it for decades.
Where have you been ? Obviously not holding. Mind you if you are holding nothing changes. If you haven't got a ticket you can't win the prize. The challenge here is we don't know for sure what the prize actually is but the noises are promising.
I think you might be right. You can get hold of his audio on AudioBoom https://audioboom.com/channel/docholidayonaudioboom
Apparently so. If you have the email on the completed trades and take a screen grab of your dealing history they should all be there. I agree it is a bit unsettling.
Apparently when a share is suspended they take them out of your account. If you look at your cash history the purchase is there. When the suspension is lifted they get put back at the market price. Don't panic.
interesting that buys are showing as sells ?
