a General Meeting of Tulu Kapi Gold Mines Share Company ("TKGM") has been convened for 14 February 2020 (the "Meeting"), to formalise the final and procedural sign-off of all matters required for the release of funds from ANS Mining Share Company ("ANS Mining") to TKGM.

I recall a couple of years ago they appealed a mining permit and their case was thrown out on appeal. They didn't use arguments that had to do with the law. What a surprise.

I don;t think the SP can really go much further down - price based on no decision for a while. I did wonder if there was likely to be a byelection over there, what with the Government hanging on with a majority of 1 - well, you never know....

At present, the mining company Beowulf will not sue the state because a decision on mining in Kallak in Jokkmokk municipality has been delayed at the time.

This was decided at a board meeting in Stockholm on Wednesday.

- It has been wrongly reported that we would sue the Swedish government. All alternatives are still on the table, but we have decided at today's board meeting not to sue the government at this time, says Beowulf's CEO Kurt Budge.

Waiting for the decision
Since the exploration permit was granted in 2006, the mining company has worked and invested to obtain a permit in Kallak, about four kilometers from Jokkmokk. The county administrative board has previously said no to refusal and now the matter is on the government's table.

But a decision has been delayed far too long, says the company who believes that everything was done right during the process and that a decision must be made as soon as possible by the government.

- After all the work and all the investments we made, to say no is absolutely ridiculous. And a no would hurt Sweden's reputation as a country where the mining industry comes to invest, says Kurt Budge.
