My most likely prediction to be proved right is; Scoping study shows that there is a link between North and South kallak - This is compelling news for Gov't and we get licence around April. Samis appeal unsuccessfully so confirmed in May- JV with LKAB announced in August. we let them get on with it and find somewhere nicer to drill. SP peaks at 30p on licence - drops on appeal and up again to 50p in jv. Sorted.

Aitolampi Drilling Now Underway Beowulf (AIM: BEM; Aktietorget: BEO), the mineral exploration and development company, focused on the Kallak magnetite iron ore project and the �tvidaberg polymetallic exploration licence in Sweden, and its graphite portfolio in Finland, is pleased to announce that drilling at its Aitolampi graphite project is now underway. Aitolampi is part of the Company's 100 per cent owned Exploration Permit Pitk�j�rvi 1. The Company has plans to drill approximately 2,000 metres, up to 15 drill holes, with the drilling programme split into two phases. The drilling contract has been awarded to a local Finnish contractor, Oy Northdrill. The first phase will be drilled on snow covered ground and take three to four weeks to complete, with samples being sent for analysis and testwork concurrently with drilling. After the information collected from the first phase of drilling has been fully analysed, the second phase of drilling will commence, most likely in the summer of 2018. The drilling programme for this year will support our objectives of defining a maiden resource of 4-5 million tonnes, following the guidelines of the JORC Code 2012 edition, and conducting a Scoping Study. Kurt Budge, CEO, commented: "It's great to be back drilling at Aitolampi, and working again with local Finnish contractor Northdrill, who did an excellent job for us in 2017. Thanks - I think the key point is that they are in the opposition - ie have less power and influence ie, we don't care.

apart from a radiohead song - I think the extra three week consultation will make any final decision unappealable. There is no way any party can argue their views weren't considered - and an appeal based on "don't like it" will get nowhere. The evidence is balanced heavily in our favour - The Sami arguments seem to be "coexistence can't possible work" without any specific evidence to support it - but with plenty of existing evidence of mines where it does. And a Government declared bias toward mining in this area which out trumps any last minute, desparate, quick vote by the Sami Parliament to undermine it (pun intended). Feeling very positive. The map, drawing a fyramil radius of the Laponia world heritage site, shows several other mines and industries that are at the same distance or closer to the world heritage compared to Kallak. Among other things, Aitik, Vit�fors, Kiruna mine and Sisjka wind farm. The map belongs to the supplementary material submitted by Jokkmokk in early February at the Government's request. After many times, the government will decide on Beowulf mining processing concession for Kallak. "The map is included because we did not see anyone complaining about the world heritage in terms of the relocation of Malmberget and Kiruna, and the establishment of other mines. Those who feel that fear seem to only concentrate on Jokkmokk and I'm surprised, "says Robert Bernhardsson (S). One of the reasons why the county administrative board in its opinion said no to a processing concession was the justification that a mine would affect the status of Laponia's world heritage.
