Maybe I am being a bit daft or naïve here.
“You can go into the store and they will order it for you.”
Well, you have to know you want to order it; which means you have to know it exists and furthermore know you would like to take it and you can afford it etc etc.
If I wish to know about a new Dyson vacuum or new model Merc SLX I will not look on the Net.
I will see it first on another media, TV, Radio, paper media, or someone else using it; then I may go to the Net.
I have told many of my associates of FF, not one of them is using it and nearly all have forgotten our conversation.
I belong to an OAP group of 18 who go Tenpin Bowling. Not one of them knew of FF and only two had heard of Lycopene although most knew tomato was good for the diet. Only a couple used H&B and that was for the usual quick in and get out with what they wanted.
My sister never uses the internet other than social media, her husband has never held a modern phone never mind a computer, my Sister in Law only use it for keeping in touch with family as a messaging service. I am confident that those facts are not unusual within in many households.
Sad to say, somehow greater expensive media coverage will be required somehow.
China is as good a route to market as there is and will probably be the only viable route to market at the least cost.
