@rugby1 - there are a lot of reasons why the SP is where it is. As a potential investor (again) I will give you my thoughts. It’s a big risk in my opinion. Too big for me at the moment. Currently the mining partner of GGP is trying to sell its stake of 70% of the Hav mine. Almost certainly at a higher price than they bought it. Good business from Newmont. So in reality GGP do not have a mining partner. There are no financial details as to how, or even if, GGP can finance the 70% itself. Even if it could GGP would either incur a huge debt or more likely a big equity issue. Probably both. There is the horror show that GGP might end up with 30% of a mine without the ability to physically extract the ore because nobody buys the 70% and GGP can’t finance it themselves. That’s my main concern. There are many issues around the processing plant Telfer. There are a lot of issues to be resolved and very major ones. Hence for me at the moment the risk is too high. In my opinion this is why the SP is where it is. Personally I’m looking to invest between £75k and £100k (again) but without a partner or robust financial plan, and listed on AIM, I’m out for the moment. DYOR etc, this is just my position.
