The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Knottee, no O don't hold TPG.
It's on my watch list but don't see a significant upturn which would lead me to hold as of yet.
Hydrogen is as of now going to do little for the company until they get organised and money coming in.
Will wait and see.
Don't worry chaps, it's only money, you haven't got the virus, I guess.
Most shares seem to be down today, now that's a coincidence, this one most because of the small number of shares.
Sit quiet, breathe in gently and out even more gently.
I am amused.
I'm watching the rubbishers rubbishing the company and telling us to sell.
I'm also watching the intelligent ones telling us to buy.
Me? I'm buying and selling when I feel it is right to do so. It's worked so far!!.
The problem with electric only cars is the weight of the battery which is carried around ALL the time, not like liquid fuels which deplete after every full tank, and the amount of CO2 emissions produced during its manufacture, reported to be 17 tonnes for a mondeo sized car to 35 tonnes for a land rover. I don't know difference in CO2 between an IC engine and gearbox to electric motor drive train, but suspect it's is similar (rare metals, mining, manufacturing).
Poor old Musk, think he's going down the wrong route pinning all his money in electric only.
So VOX says sell!
Well, let it go lower then I can buy cheaper.
Was it Buffett who says buy when others are fearful. This is a long term hold for me.
If I sold these where would I go. I hold roughly evenly in all the hydrogen and others fuel cell, electrolysers, plastic and waste gasification, renewables etc companies where I understand the technologies and am happy in making over 100% in less than six months in what are new disruptive technologies and won't be going away. Money is leaving oil and dropping in here.
Just need the government to think beyond Boris's electric buses, put some pressure on and spread electric and hydrogen infrastructures all around industry, trains, trucks, small ships, big ships which ever is appropriate.
We need more than Boris's big toys and get serious.
'To be fair the new ones run alot quieter and more efficient not like the old ones which sounded like a bag of spanners when running'
It's a lot to do with engine exhaust silencing effectiveness, isolation of flexible mountings between the fridge unit and the body its mounted on (drumming flat panels don't help) and noise insulation of the total unit whilst not throttling the engine air intake and exhaust.
Observation of the fridge units usually shows lots of space around them to afford many good improvements.
Hasn't the legal profession yet realised that the world needs fuel cells?
Has the company sold anything in the last five years?
Now we know why computers are overpriced

This is a great new idea with an enormous market potential.
To save on the pollution created when manufacturing a new diesel engine and utilise the remaining life of an existing engine, could not a new alternative kit (twice the size?) be produced later by AFC to incorporate existing and refurbished diesel engines into new larger hybrid units as business expands.
NigerianPrince, get your government to buy a lot of these pieces of kit to replace the vast number of generator sets your country uses as highlighted in a previous message. Take some money out of their 'reserves' (!!!). It will be more useful to your pocket (and AFCs).
Become a Nigerian agent for AFC and FILL your pockets.
But -- AFC may not want you based on previous comments!
This is one of the first developments from manufacturing individual pieces to putting together a useful and practical piece of kit. A bit like screwing bit of meccano together and enjoying something useful. I see the beginnings of a much needed new industry. We need to catch up other countries who are way ahead of us. The Bank of England has already indicated support, but we need specific support from the Government, not just warm words.
