I watched back the round table yesterday too had no idea what they were talking about most of the time. But in simplistic terms:
It isnt a easy to create quick accurate tests this type of thing usually takes years. If it was easy, one would have come out a week into the pandemic and the whole world wouldn't be in lock down and hundreds of thousands of lives wouldn't have been lost!!

Whilst it isn't easy, it is as wiggly quoted "doable" and it was the boring AVCT man than said that. So if its doable it will be done but it needs to be done properly or its a complete waste of time.

and after yesterdays RNS proves there are so many applications where affirmer technology can be utilised
