It's not very clear from presentations and interviews how long it will take. Can't believe that can be very happy, how dare they!!!

This test has also been around for a long time I remember discussing it before.

Their validation was on CT value up to 28 and they have sensitivity 95.6 % and 100% specificity

Where as Affidx at that range is
Sensitivity 100% and 99% specificity

So whose better at identifying infectious people?

Thier USP is they only detect live virus as what ever it is that binds mimics a human cell.

Correct me if I'm wrong but affimers will also only bind to live virus? Or is it possible they would bind with a fragment if it was a fragment of the binding site.

AL said it would be wholly inappropriate to divulge any data at this stage, which is true. BUT they are very happy how it is going.
So I think we can safely assume that AVA6000 is working well for this ONE patient.

No one is suggesting its the end of the trial, it's scheduled to continue for a few years and is designed to be very data rich along the way.

probably best to take guidance from the experts running the trial and draw your own conclusions.

As I said AS said its not about delivering high doses its about the amount of doses someone can endure

AS Did point out yesterday its not about delivering higher doses its about being able to tolerate a longer treatment. Which AVA6000 obviously achieves by not "leaking" chemo drugs in the rest of the body and particularly the heart.
