The great thing about the LG chem deal is LG take the strain and pay avacta for development plus eventually royalties.

-The initial agreement was for Avacta to generate and carry out the discovery, optimisation, and protein engineering of Affimers against undisclosed targets.

-LG Chem will be responsible for preclinical and clinical development and world-wide marketing of any resulting products.

-Avacta will also receive royalties on any future product sales and LG Chem will cover Avacta’s costs of research and development associated with the collaboration. Avacta may receive additional option fees and milestone payments should LG Chem elect to exercise their options for additional targets.

Avacta has done the development work for Affimer XT and LG will now take this forward.

Just thought I'd make that a separate heading, as I said on the other thread.

The clinicians are now treating terminally ill very weak patients with these levels of dox.

If it wasn't working they'd be killing these patients with that level of toxicity if it wasn't tumor targeted.

And the weight of argument would also suggest it's not just remaining inert.

Its an odd reaction but as I said yesterday this should stabilise the SP and I suspect we may get the usual delayed reaction when it dawns on the market.

Very low level and basic but now we are at 180% of standard dosage of dox wouldn't it be killing the already terminal and probably very weak patients if it was leaching all over the body?

For balance though perhaps its just remaining inert, but then why would the trial continue as they would know this from urine, bloods and biopsy data.

As AS timescales seem to be on point now, its not long till the data from this data rich trial is delivered.
