We've had 3 weeks now at this price (give or take a few silly UTs).

The data from the phase one trial is 3 months away, there are numerous chances at positive RNSs between now and then. I can't see why even if there were no RNSs between now and data it would drop much further.
Who knows the mindset of the TWat club though. Any angles of attack that they have on the trial have been covered off competently by posters here. If I had a short I'd close it and choose a new target.
This post is a bit like a wynbore post though I would say from the options you have presented they may stick, twist or fold.

So you honestly think the 100 or so employees are going to be buying enough shares to force the price up too?

The CEO has millions in shares so you are probably correct about him not needing to buy more, he will also meet performance targets when (or if) pre|CISION is proven.
