If you're working in a small company that's only got one product, sometimes you need partners like us who have a portfolio of interests, who can really give the bad news that a drug isn't going anywhere.
We need to stop it, and that's explicitly an intention of early phase, Phase I trials. Objectives of phase 1a trial are:
Primary
Evaluating safety and tolerability of AVA6000
Determine MTD for phase 1b
Secondary
Characterise pharmacokinetics in plasma, urine and tumour of ava6000, of the pre|CISION leaving group, and of active metabolites
To evaluate the initial anti-tumour activity of AVA6000

We are 1 year and 3 months into phase 1a, make up your own mind if the primary objectives will be met.

And from the facts we know from what the company have told us in interviews, presentations and face to face meetings make your own mind up if the secondary objectives are also going to be met?

No news, is good news in this case, trial hasn't been halted all of a sudden, it's pretty clear as we've been told the safety and tolerability profile of ava6k is very good.
That after all is the primary objective of phase 1a....
