From what I've seen in the presentations etc I can't see them starting 1b until MTD is found. Which was of course the original plan as that will then give them a dosing level for 1b.
Can't see how 1a and 1b could run in parallel, that makes no sense as 1b follows 1a using the data gleamed from it.

I would have thought Dr Tap is looking for STS patients though for his arm of phase 1b.
