It sounds like GMS have a loophole, in the sense that if a board becomes too small to function properly they can reappoint board members... Sounds like its business as normal, so Seafox need a plan C now.

It is encouraging. I don't feel I can rest easy until the Secura business is concluded, but it does sound like the company has good prospects even in the absence of Mtx110 (but lets be honest, the company have put piles of shareholders' money into funding it so it would be tragic for it to result in nothing).

Obviously their proof-reader was one of the ones made redundant. At least it sounds like there's some interest in the company. I just hope they get a move on and start making offers, I'm so tired of this company now...

I'm hoping there will be an RNS tomorrow which will explain their motive for wanting two people on the board and what they will say to pursuade shareholders to vote in their favour at the general meeting.

Wonder if having two men on the BoD would allow them to have another go at bidding for the company.

I'm not sure. I'm in the same boat (no pun intended) as you. I thought there would be lots of discussion, especially with the sp drop. I'm interested to see what Seafox do next, their hands are pretty tied at the moment but I'm sure after the placing their chance to takeover GMS for a low price will be over.

So with Blackrock out is that the end of the Woodford saga?

If that were the case, it would be wierdly not too far off them 'selling' MTX110. Probably not the best deal but if they got a fair amount it could open up other options.

No Starbuck, im saying Secura would need to compensate Midatech for the withdrawal of the license. Or at least negotiate something more pleasant than simply snatching it off them.

I'm far from an expert but my guess that this 'good faith' negotiation would be for Secura to terminate the license in a way that benefits Midatech. Perhaps with monetary compensation or such like.

Well if they do have a strong case, I hope they sue the hell out of Secura...

Jeez, that's a massive loss even if they bought in at 23p... It always baffles me that people sell en masse when decent news is released. I've seen it happen with many companies. I'm sure there's a reason for it but it seems to defy common sense.

Just a word of warning to anyone thinking about investing. All the talk of electric vehicles and the future prospects of lithium is great but remember Kod is NOT yet producing even a gram of lithium and has some big hurdles to overcome before it does. Research the company, see where it is in its current state and where it's heading and make your own decisions. Don't just read all these EV news articles and look at the recent share price action and thing 'Bingo!'.

I'm not trying to deramp here, I'm just offering a neutral perspective and a word of caution.

As its a US company, itll be interesting to see how the NASDAQ reacts this afternoon. The name Dr Reddys might mean a lot more to the fellows over the pond.

People always seem to sell on news unless its something that immediately affects the value of a company. I fear the problem with this RNS is its vagueness. It just sounds like we're letting the big company play with our toys. Theres no talk of financials or potential licensing (hopefully that is what comes next).

I'm also plotting an exit strategy. Such as shame because this time last year the company looked to have a really bright future.

I smelled a pump and dump so I sold at 0.09p, might reenter back down at 0.04.

They have embarassed themselves here, and possibly wasted a lot of money... I guess a lot of people were counting on a sale so they've abandoned ship (no pun intended). I personally am excited to see what happens next, given the great fleet utilisation for the year.

I know the RNS isn't the most exciting but at least they're making the effort to keep shareholders up to date with progress. Would you rather they didn't bother and kept us in the dark?
