RNS from 19th (last Thursday) Loan Note Conversion Notice � EQTEC plc (AIM: EQT), the technology solution company for waste gasification to energy projects, has received a conversion notice pursuant to the Unsecured Loan Note Facility announced on 28 February 2018 for the principal amount of �150,000 to be converted at 0.4p per share into 37,500,000 new ordinary shares in the Company. � Upon issue, the new ordinary shares would comprise 2.71% of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company. � Application will be made for the admission to AIM of the new ordinary shares in accordance with the terms of the Loan Note agreement.

Sanchez599 - I don't recall it was dissatisfaction with all the resolutions it was the possibility of shares being issued that could have been the precursor to a backdoor takeover by our largest shareholder. That was raised with the BoD and their assurances that that wasn't going to happen were believed by those present. It was a possibility and that would have affected all shareholders if it had transpired. You mention the pump and dump re: Bitcoin adventure - I seem to recall in December anything that was even touched by Bitcoin's shadow including VELA, OBC etc spiked - I don't see that as a fault of the BoD - I don't think their influence extends to Bitcoin going beserk in the same period! If you choose not to speak to CEOs that are custodians of your investment that is your choice but equally I understand why others with less than your investment at stake would try and get a feel for the trustworthiness and approachability of those entrusted with their money and that is often down to simple human interaction...

This is guaranteed to be of no help whatsoever but people did wonder when RNS announcements get released! If you strip out the RNS that CLP were "forced" into making on a particular day (eg Broker resignation, suspension etc) you are then left with announcements that they have some leeway in releasing (eg results, details of debt reduction etc). Since FG & RE appointment to the board these have been released as follows: Monday (14%), Tuesday (19%), Wednesday (12%), Thursday (26%), Friday (29%). I have stripped out multiple announcements made on same day so it just reflects days on which there was a non-forced announcement... So if Presto wants to start a sweepstake he could use these to set the odds!

I think you’re right. I’d lost sight of the word “all” in the phrase “The focus of management is to pursue the monetisation of all of the Company’s existing assets, through selected realisations, court-led recoveries of misappropriated assets and substantial debt-recovery processes.” Having said that when FG sees a fresh opportunity that is not related to an existing asset (eg Bitcoin mining venture) he is prepared to make investment. I seem to remember someone saying either Sipiem or TLT had a chunk of debt on their balance sheet so it seemed a possible candidate for debt cancellation...thanks again for your hard work RKB!

I know this is getting ahead of ourselves but, if our investment in Ondaland through Sipiem is going to be retained as an income producing asset then, with the cash coming in from Mediapolis, there might be an opportunity to do similar debt reduction deals with either Sipiem or TLT (owners of Ondaland). That would produce another revenue source (interest repayments) on a drastically decreased debt and on an asset that CLP have an ongoing interest in. They’ve shown already that there is an appetite among some of these banks to have debt repaid at a hefty discount so it may be possible to extend that to our other interests - it makes the asset more secure as far as CLP goes especially if a first charge comes with it...

These 3 directors in JIM Nominees Limited are also the directors in quoted Jarvis Securities Plc (non-coincidentally quoted as JIM (!)). Interesting character Ezio Luigi Fabiani heads up An Idea Lives On Ltd. Listed as Civilian Aide to the Italian Army Attache at the Defence Office, Italian Embassy i London. This company is controlled in turn by Charlie Tango Sierra Ltd which is owned by Ezio and Fabio Fabiani (not the racing driver Fabio Fabiani btw)

Just a thought. Would an EGM be needed if additional shares were issued in a subsidiary eg Clear Leisure 2017 rather than Clear Leisure Plc?

These are the closing prices for 3, 6 and 12 months ago. 10/12/2017 - 0.68 # 10/09/2017 - 0.26 # 10/03/2017 - 0.23 # Even less than 4 months ago the price was 0.29 (16/11/2017) so whilst it’s disappointing to see the fall from the December highs it’s been a good performer over a slightly longer timeframe.
