I have to echo zstarz's post. You've been a rock for all of us here by continually providing your honest research. Even when it wasn't always pro Cineworld, it more importantly proved your info was always balanced and therefore solid.

Know that whatever you invest in next, we will always appreciate your efforts here. When that day happens, I for one will be a right little stalker keeping an eye on your informative posts just to see where you may roam next!! ;D

Jesus, is this amateur hour? I've already explained this to you once, the market already knows what the results will be so it'll already be priced in. Are you honestly expecting the market to feign huge surprise when it sees it? At worst, it'll dip slightly and then rebound back the same day.

I don't know why you're attempting to scare people away when the world and his dog knows we haven't had the doors open since October so we all know EXACTLY what the results will be and will come as no surprise (just like all the other companies that have been shut). Given the SP usually reacts instantly to any known future outcomes it should already be factored in.

For starters get a grip and stop blaming others for your own decisions, no one told you to do anything.

As far as I can gather you tried to short a recovery stock on the tail end of the pandemic and then went long at the near peak of a price surge, so you do the maths. It all went wrong for you with taking out your initial short (and then tried to deramp here much to the derision you deservedly received for doing it) and now you're chasing the market which is always going to be a bad idea. Just learn from it, take the emotion out of it and it'll hopefully stop you making such dumb decisions in the future.

I think it is based on three weeks but as I understood it they're still keeping a cautious eye on the two week infection rate lag after that third week. Obviously the emphasis is that they're very much 'following the data rather than the dates' (as they keep telling us) but if it means the last of lockdowns done in a safe controlled manner and it gives us the greatest chance of a return to normal longterm, I'm more than fine with it.

Feeling incredibly optimistic about everything tonight, in fact more than I ever have.

It's obviously the reason for the nice little end of trading uptick in the SP. Maybe an indication there's something been let out the bag amongst the higher echelons pre-announcment?

Genuine question, do you have an investment strategy or do you just act on your emotional whims? I'm not slating you, I just can't for the life of me fathom how you actually make any money or not constantly lose shares from reading how you've traded these last few months. From the outside it just seems really sporadic, petulant and emotional investing? In all my years I've never met a single successful investor using that approach without a huge amount of luck on their side.

Also I've got to ask, why do you sign your posts off with your initials?

Cheers, he has a nice little bonus incentive coming his way on the understanding he fights hard and recovers quickly. (Mooky,I learnt this method from the best!)

Back on topic, I'm glad you've all been fighting the good fight and holding the fort while I've been away. It seems the professional derampers are long gone now (good riddance!) and it's just these occasional amateur chancers every so often bringing up the usual spouted garbage they've read one time in a biased newspaper article without ever doing their own research... It's hilarious they think they're telling us something new when it's all been posted and debunked hundreds of times before them. As we know they soon crawl back under their rocks as quick as they fester here the moment the SP rises.

Patience is key, it's just a matter of time now.

I don't know why you (and your ilk) are suddenly suggesting streaming is such a new phenomenon when it's been around since 2007 and made absolutely no difference whatsoever to cinema attendance figures. I suggest you research these figures before you post stuff like 'demand for cinema is low compared with twenty years ago, this is why before covide ticket prices dropped from £13 to £5' and see how consistent and profitable they've remained in those 20 years.
