Originally Wolverhampton but now living just outside Shrewsbury (having had a few years in London sandwiched in between). Absolutely love the Shropshire area, although I had to lose the accent fairly quickly as nobody could understand me! :D

@CityWatcher - the games your ilk play don't work here, this board consists mostly of well weathered investors that went through MUCH darker days and have seen all the tricks you guys try to pull. If you think a deramp attempt on a 6% red day is going to get any of us to sell our shares you're off your nut. If experience serves well, we'll more than likely never see you post here again so I doubt you'll even read this. Just drop a couple of ominous stink bombs then crawl back under your rock, that's how it works with you guys right?

Don't let anyone scare you out of your shares.
If they're trying to get you to sell, it's for a reason.
If they're trying to convince you there's a better play, they're insecure with their own investment.

It sounds like it was ‘Licorice Pizza’. Bradley Cooper’s character mentions ‘Barbara Streisand’ as his girlfriend in the trailer but from the synopsis the film’s not about her at all.

Catching the press and media this morning they were all really blown away with it. The BBC, The Times, The Guardian, Sky etc. all giving full 5 star ratings and reviews, totally unheard of!

Folks concerned it was going to be headed towards an unnaturalistic feminist Bond apparently will have their fears quashed and the politically correct should also be happy their issues were addressed even to the point they think young women will be encouraged to watch it. So a happy balance was found after all, something you rarely see these days…

Cinemas really could be in for a bumper harvest with this one.

...And there's the old Bonkers we know and love right there, maturely taken on the chin. Mutual respect mate.

Although I blame Robin for it all personally. I heard down the men's club somebody nicked his Cessna 172 and after seeing a few recent trailers he fancied himself as a bit of a Bond getting it back. Oddjob somehow got involved and they ended up a sordid mess together along with some Grimsby Bond girls a.k.a 'The Robin Regulars'. One hell of a hoo-hah ensued, he did himself a bit of a mischief 'down there' and he landed himself in the very warm and capable hands of Nuffield's finest (again). All hearsay so should be taken with a pinch of salt but most importantly and should be much relief to this board, some of the bourbons were thankfully retrieved.

(Get well soon Robin, you heroic beast. The girls all say hi and really miss your wonky tonk - allegedly)

For God's sake Bonkers, please give it a rest mate. I only drop in to get brief updates these days and all I see now is this board turned to ****. What is incredibly sad is to read your latest posts, they're so far removed from the high quality encouragement and positivity you used to offer LTHs. Please rise above all this childish 'club' stuff for your own sake, you're all supposedly intelligent investors and yet no one is coming out of any of these pathetic spats with any dignity and sadly you're always involved. The utterly ridiculous thing is you’re all on the same ******* side...

As a person I think a lot of people think the guy's a complete pillock even though they agree with his stance on things, regardless no one can dispute he gets the viewer ratings and that's really all that counts for ITV shareholders.

Universal South Korea just released their NTTD trailer as to their marketing schedule (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kCzbDJ2G_B8) and DHL relaunched their promotional ad yesterday (https://www.notimetodie.dhl).

If it was going to be delayed they certainly haven’t informed any of the various marketing departments…

So in conclusion can we assume his ‘we’ wasn’t quite as ‘we’ as he first led himself to believe?

I do find it hilarious a poster that has only been here a couple of months thinks he speaks for us all when he hasn’t got a clue what this board used to be like. I neither ramp or deramp here myself but ‘we’ had a constant daily barrage of deramping attacks (remember eddiemorra for one, real nasty piece of work and then there were those two other morons shorterguy and indepthwins amongst SO many others). It was absolute carnage here.

You don’t remember them Dragon9? Of course you don’t, so wind that jumped up neck of yours in and understand other posters’ longer-term experiences here are incredibly different to your own. Some have become defensive and overly bullish BECAUSE of having to defend their investment from these deramping cretins, particularly during the darker days. Constant scare tactic posts telling us Cineworld was definitely 100% going out of business and how our investments were going to be totally worthless on a daily basis. This place is a dream compared to what it used to be like - and that's saying something...

So no, your interpretation of ‘we’ doesn’t remotely constitute the general feeling of us on this board at all, in fact as a newbie you don’t speak for us at all. It'd do you well to try walking a mile in others’ shoes first before attempting to be some sort of spokesperson here.

FunInvestor, aren't you the one that CONSTANTLY reminds us all that what happens in the UK really is insignificant to CINE given the majority of our business is in the US?
