We really need to be at the forefront with all this new technology certainly not following in our competitors’ wake. They are creating a real fresh buzz with the cinema experience (the US in particular) and we obviously need to take advantage of it all and offer new, even better incentives ourselves. Out of the box stuff that really makes the shorts think twice about what the **** they are doing. The marketing department have been very much left wanting at times when opportunities presented themselves, the whole reopening I personally found incredibly lacklustre when it should have capitalised on the huge celebration that cinema was finally back.

I don’t doubt for a second Spider-Man is going to absolutely rake it in for us but AMC has some 4/5 million retail investors now who are obviously all going to be supporting their own investment.

Trust me I’m in no way bearish on this, I just don’t want CW to miss a trick here.

This concerns me a little given my CINE investment is far greater than my AMC... Yes this is incredibly positive that it’s attracting many more people to go to the cinema but now it’s time for Mooky to start earning his corn with the marketing department because all those ‘apes’ are turning to AMC as their cinema of choice to receive those NFTs. They may be a gimmick to some folks but the proof is there that these things are going to be really sort after. We need to be doing similar campaigns (and more) just to compete, otherwise we’re going to get left behind.

The sooner we get listed in the US the better too…

If there had been a leak Cineplex would have gone up massively yesterday. It didn't, it went down too (albeit barely).

I wouldn't say it's 'secure' Hussartbr, we all know it's a risk recovery play but it's already survived the worst of the pandemic and we now have high immunisation levels plus soon to be authorized antiviral medications (Molnupiravir and Paxlovid) in our arsenals to finally defeat this virus. For me, the price will fluctuate where ever it may until the court case verdict and then I believe we'll start to see the shorts close, after all it was the whole Cineplex deal that caused CINE to be so heavily shorted in the first place before Covid. Once this bugbear has been removed from around our necks, it's only the tail end of the pandemic to wait out for. I firmly believe patience is all that is required, no one ever gets wealthier buying high and then selling low.

I just can't see us having another lockdown at all. The wave the west of Europe are currently facing is the one we already endured during the summer, we opened up much earlier than these other countries with high immunity levels purposely to avoid suffering this wave in the winter. I think people forget we're actually a lot further ahead of the curve than other countries plus the fact we're now boosting our immunity levels when some countries are still struggling to encourage their populations with their first jabs.

I honestly don't know why the current infestation have lasted as long as they have here, these cretins are usually banned a lot sooner than this. Reporting them doesn't seem to be as effective as it has been in the past.

I'd love nothing more than to filter them all but unfortunately that doesn't stop their influence on new unsuspecting investors to the board who are oblivious to their illicit tactics. It'd be ideal if we could have one thread that we ALL just keep bumping up to the top whenever they appear that just keeps an up-to-date list of the trolls, that way we could all green coffin them and they wouldn't be able to derail decent threads. It could be the nearest we get to self-admining the board ourselves just as as long as it wasn't abused and only used for the serial offenders. Worth a try?
