Indeed Texlax30, ref Q2 results, what was also very telling, to me anyway, was Shaun Day's comment in his interview at the weekend, when he said that the Gold price in AUD, especially, "...bodes well for a good June quarter".

I don't like to get ahead of myself, but I think he maybe, just maybe, knows where we're going on that one already...

I'm not sure of the latest BlackRock group fund holdings in Greatland Gold. Morningstar show them at around 100 million shares, but that can be out of date, and I don't have access to Bloomberg. However, there's an interesting comment by Roland Arnold, representing the Investment Manager in the 'BlackRock Smaller Companies Trust' latest report yesterday:

"Detractors to performance during the month were widespread. Some names that we did not own that performed well, such as Greatland Gold, which benefited from the gold price reaching record levels in March... ".

Oh well, as my old headmaster used to regularly write on my school report, "Could do better". ;-)

This whole "question to Shaun Day" thing, which was also mentioned yesterday, and reiterated by Dip, makes little sense to me, because I don't quite understand what anyone would expect him to say, about what the likes of Wyloo's, or any other companies intentions are, over any sort of future M&A activity. ask by all means, which is your right, but I doubt you'll be any the wiser afterwards.

WA Government spends $11 million on EIS grant winners

In the latest round of funding for the Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS), the Western Australian Government will spend $11.2 million across three EIS programs to 23 ASX-listed explorers.

The three programs include co-funded drilling which will receive $7.8 million, energy analysis which will receive $200,000, and co-funded geophysics which will receive $3.2 million.

The state government says encouragingly, about 50% of the applicants receiving funds for drilling are targeting critical minerals while 75% of the co-funded geophysics ventures are focused on discovering new deposits.

Under the EIS, the grant aims to support Western Australian exploration projects via direct co-investment in drilling programs, provision of pre-competitive scientific information, and support for research and development activities.

@ Aimingtoplease, Yup, I remember Shaun Day using the Havieron "ore body" continuing to "the centre of the earth" at one of the Town Hall meetings, probably a couple of years ago now. Who knows how deep it goes, but, over the mine life, who also knows what new technology will bring to the party, as to how deep we can actually go, still economically?

As we also know, Havieron has already been talked about as a once in a generation, maybe two generational motherlode.

With respect MH01, I don't see any 'slander' from anyone, just, on the whole, a very respectable, informed thread, with many LTH's, and others, personal views. What people probably don't like is being told what to do, or not to do. Just IMHO.

Basically, as said before, likely second decline at Havieron, but based on FS. But, come on guys, we know it's very likely to happen, with cash flow!

Tungsten - Mentioned again, and, as mentioned before, maybe with a J/V as opposed to handling it ourself.

Re options: Long term alignment with shareholders. Particularly in the context of delivering Havieron. Basically re-investing in Greatland shares.

Stressing put options, which were 'cheap insurance to buy', so getting a balance between record gold prices now, with no upside loss, and protecting any downside.

Absolutely! 100%! Of course he's not going to, especially since any trust may well have been lost now. To expect that does, maybe, show a somewhat overinflated view of oneself.

Just to add my tuppence worth (and yes, that idiom does show my age, and the time I've been investing), I've always enjoyed Liam's interviews with Shaun, and thank him for them, but his opinion is no different from anyone else's, and no more important to me, as an investor in GGP, or any other stock, than anyone else's. I take it aboard, but, it's not as if myself, and many others, haven't considered this ever since Wyloo's involvement. What will happen will happen, and, of course, like anyone else, you do your own research, and make your own decisions, and trust few, especially on BB's and social media. I'm personally looking forward to the listing, which I expect to add significant value. It's pretty much a done deal anyway, so there's nothing I can do, even if I wanted to, which I don't. GLA
