Also Shaun Day has addressed the aquifers at Havieron on several occasions, and most recently when he was in London. Here's what he said:

"There are three confined aquifers there (Havieron). We've been through the upper confined aquifer and the middle confined aquifer, and coming up to the lower confined aquifer, when we restart. I don't think the aquifers are technically challenging for us. It's a well trodden path in Australian underground mining, where you drill, you de-pressure, you put in bores, de-waterise, and move through the aquifer, which is just porous rock where some water can flow, and we've established the pumping to maintain that .

Overall, Havieron is a relatively dry mine. It's very manageable. It's a much drier mine than Telfer so we don't see that as a challenge."

Unless anyone has heard anything more recently, Shaun Day commented as follows at the last Town Hall meeting:

Q: "When can we expect it (Havieron Feasibility Study)?"

A: "The second half of the year. I think my sense is that we might be in that December quarter....but nor do we want it to be Christmas Eve. I'd love it to be November, maybe even as early as October, but that's probably how I feel about that..."

What I particularly like about the 'The Paterson Project' is that the old, significant, Copper drilling intercepts are relatively shallow and can be targeted using RC drilling, which makes it both cheaper (initially at least) to drill further, but also, if it comes to it, much cheaper to develop. Mind you, that's all in the future, but it's why I've taken an early punt, although high risk.

FFS! Can't we have just a 'normal' thread, for once, at least, with sensible inputs, at least at weekends, without the inevitable crap!

Also, they cite the 'Ninety One Global Gold Fund', which has a holding of 2,430,314 Greatland Resources shares. They also have 1,807,500 shares in their Global Natural Resources Fund.

Hi Bamps, and thanks for your input. I only take notice because they're a large corporation, and have used the same analysis for many years in their annual reports & reserve reports, including the latest. Your analysis, as I've said, is just another factor involved in the same. Therefore I wouldn't just dismiss it myself, as, IMHO, it's still very relevant in the large picture.

And, just to add, from my many posts on this, including earlier this week, about Newmont's 'Gold Reserve Sensitivity', where they most recently state, in their reserves report,

"A $100 increase in gold price would result in an approximate 6 percent increase in gold reserves while a $100 decrease in gold

price would result in an approximate 6 percent decrease in gold reserves. These sensitivities assume an oil price of $75 per

barrel (WTI), Australian dollar exchange rate of $0.70 and Canadian dollar exchange rate of $0.75. These sensitivities assume all

other inputs remain equal, including all cost and capital assumptions, which may also have a material impact on these

approximate estimates."

I totally appreciate that there are numerous factors involved, but, nevertheless, if you take the gold price from September last year (US$2500), to where it is now (US$3600), it's easy to work out that, on that basis alone, reserves COULD be seen to have increased by 66% since the sale. In fact, and maybe someone could give their view on this, but those 6% increases should maybe be cumulative?

My knowledge on put's is pretty limited, but I'm guessing that, since the gold price has moved so much, there would be options available to us to buy/sell/re-negotiate/exit. I'm not saying we may, or may not, but maybe someone with a better knowledge could enlighten us? Alternatively, it may just not be worth the bother/risk to do so?

We're coming to the end of the next quarter of the program of gold 'Put Options', for the Quarter End Date 30th September 2025.

It's hard to believe that the current gold price is now so significantly higher than it was when these were set, and thankfully we continue to maintain full upside exposure to the gold price, while achieving downside price protection.

With the current gold price now approaching @ AUD 5,500 it'll be interesting to see if we've now put in place any new options beyond the last one's taken up, namely with Quarter End Date 31-Dec-2026.

Taken a small punt here. It's clearly in the right postcode, and, should it produce anything viable, it could well be of interest in future to Greatland Resources and their Telfer hub & spoke strategy. A long, long way to go though, and very high risk, but so was Greatland originally.
