Sure, I generallty agree, but you completely ignore the price of copper too! As Gervaise Heddle stated, many times, "Don't for get the copper!"

In the Havieron PFS it was stated that, of course, the actual IRR of the Project will vary according to the gold and copper prices realised.

They used the following base case assumptions:
A gold price of US$1,500/oz
A copper price of US$3.30/lb

The estimated Base Case Project IRR is 16%, which, of course, varies using different price assumptions:
Scenario Assumption IRR
Gold price (US$ per ounce) 1,200 5%
Gold price (US$ per ounce) 1,800 24%
Copper price (US$ per pound) 2.60 14%
Copper price (US$ per pound) 4.00 17%

The copper price TODAY is c. US$4.50 per pound....

It'll be interesting to see what copper price is used in the 5% valuation, let alone where the copper price goes in the future with the massive demand expected over the coming years!

Exactly! Whatever! Who cares, if you're a medium/long term investor! I have no doubt, whatsoever, that games are being played...Do I care medium/long term? NO! Anyone with any sense can see very clearly where this is going and will just hold tight, and, if they have any sense at all, top up at the current ludicrous sp!

Sorry to disagree, yet again zoros, but I just cannot understand your continual view that, "Now we ALL know there is much much more to come but until it arrives, the market can only value the stock on what it sees currently", and that that, as a result, will always dictate the share price?! You seem to be in a mindset that any sp can only be based on CURRENT figures! That's nonsense, IMHO!

IMHO, as we are now, hydrogen has hit the nail on the head when he states, "What you perhaps should also to add in to your valuation metrics is that GGP will never be valued on fundamentals alone. whatever calculations you come to are only part of that metric. The future potential is huge, given we’re still nowhere near finding the boundary of this deposit - grades getting better abs new zones. Ggp will, like any other growth share, always be valued on future potential and fundamentals such as metal prices and market sentiment towards PMs."

In mining, especially, you have to look at, sure, current reserves, but, also, what's highly predictable, to give a, what I believe, is a valid share price.

If it was always based on the latest figures, what's the point of investing, as I'd always wish to be ahead of the game!

Totally agree! It's now become an enigma, beyond any doubt!

Let's just see how GGP pans out next week...It's so patently obvious, IMHO, that it's got to rise considerably beyond where we are now...BUT, it's clearly being played about with!

I'd add that there is no doubt now, IMHO, that manipulation is clearly taking place!

That all said, at the end of next week, there is, IMHO, no way, whatsoever, that we'll still be at these ridiculously low sp levels!

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I get the feeling, more & more now, that, IMHO, 'whoever' well knows that the sp is going to rise at some point leading up to, and after the upgraded MRE, and is determined now to just push it down as low as possible, so that the actual rise, when it comes, is still kept below a certain level. Ho Hum! I frankly don't really care, as we all know where this will be going!

It's a beautiful island Tex. One of my parents closest friends live there and they visited a few years ago and didn't want to come back! Enjoy!

Fair call Tex, but my personal feeling is that I'd prefer to really hit Ernest Giles, asap, and I know that's a top priority for Shaun Day too. It will certainly need significant funding, one way, or another. I do remember Shaun Day briefly alluding to divestment of non-core assets (for want of a better phrase) in one of the webcasts last year, and took that yo mean Tassie, but can't be sure. As always, only time will tell...TT

Totally agree on the divestment of Warrentina and Firetower guys! I've been saying that, and expecting that, TBH, for some years now.

Yup, it's absolutely clear about what's going to be happening, from both Sandeep Biswas & Shaun Day....

Sandeep Biswas stated very clearly a few months ago, "...but the focus is get those high grade tonnes from the crescent zone into Telfer, as soon as we possibly can, while we're working on what the entire deposit looks like. It's really exciting. It's work in progress. GET THE CASH FLOWING AS SOON AS YOU CAN. That's always my principle."

And, snap!, Shaun Day stated yesterday, "Havieron just continues to give, and that's all part of delivering, firstly, the start up mine, as the SE Crescent, tailor made for our balance sheet - Drive in, get into production, move that high grade ore through the mill and generate free cash flow, but then to re-invest into the broader Havieron opportunity. It's brilliant to work on an ore body like this."

As you know, It all depends if the two parties can reach an agreement on FMV. If not, it will probably (unless agreed otherwise) go to arbitration/independent assessment. If the latter, it could be weeks, possibly months.
