Greatland Gold has released the results from its 2021 drilling programme at its 100% owned Scallywag licence.

Seven holes were completed at four prospects, and the company also undertook a ground electro-magnetic survey.

The targets investigated this time round are known as Swan, Barbossa West, Architeuthis and Teach.

At Swan, Greatland discovered significantly anomalous gold with other pathfinder geochemistry.

Anomalous gold and pathfinders were also identified in three further holes at the Swan and Barbossa West prospects...

Following on from that, as I stated, my bet is on Scallywag becoming a part of the Newcrest J/V, or a new J/V, and us concentrating on Ernest Giles, ourselves, 100%, initially at least. Havieron will basically look after itself.

IMHO, it's highly likely that Shaun Day has been discussing Scallywag with Sandeep Biswas recently. His comments a couple of weeks ago, which many may have missed, were very telling, and possibly a clear hint as to the direction that we'll be taking.

When asked about our plans for Scallywag this year, given its proximity to Telfer and Havieron, he said that the best way to unlock value in the SP is by having exploration success at one of our 100% owned tenements. Based on this, we could have a discussion with Newcrest Mining about, well, do we bring this into the Havieron J/V, or do we develop it ourselves. He thought that if we were to bring Scallywag into the J/V, then it would give an opportunity to revisit the J/V from ‘First Principles’ to both GGP & NCM’s mutual benefit, so it would be a tremendous opportunity for us to have.

The big question, right now, is what is an "exploration success", and at what point should/would we negotiate Scallywag becoming a part of the J/V and/or a new J/V?

IMHO, it's going to happen, one way or another, and is only a matter of time.

Indeed, you will have a new annual ISA allowance available from 6th April 2022 for the 2022/23 tax year, so you could put up to £20,000 away on or after 6th April 2022 (The limit remains at £20,000 for 2022/23).

Since when did anyone believe that the GGP 'Telegram Group' should 'dictate', or even have any say, whatsoever, in what GGP PI's do in their investments?!

Sure, they're maybe good for some research, but, please don't base your investments solely on their views!

The global copper industry needs to spend more than $100 billion to build mines able to close what could be an annual supply deficit of 4.7 million tonnes by 2030, Erik Heimlich, head of base metals supply at CRU said this week.

Speaking at the 2022 CRU World Copper Conference held in Santiago, Chile, the analyst said the supply gap for the next decade is estimated at six million tonnes per year, as the clean energy and electric vehicles sectors ramp up.

This means the world would need to build eight projects the size of BHP’s (ASX: BHP) Escondida in Chile, the world’s largest copper mine, over the next eight years. Such task, Heimlich said, seems questionable – “possible” rather than “probable”, given the bigger scale developments required and the fact that about half the projects in the pipeline are greenfield....

And it goes on...BUT let's not forget that 'they' have to buy these shorted shares back again! The big rise will come, 100% for sure!

Nice to see more growth 'leap outs', which may well prove that we're still only 'scratching the surface', of what is already looking to be one of the, if not the biggest, gold/copper motherlode(s) for a generation, or more!

IMHO, that's what a whole, increasing load, of canny and researched investors believe about GGP now.

Richard, IMHO your're 100% right for a medium/long term view on GGP, but, then again, what do I know!

However, I also sincerely hope that nobody here cares what your investment value is! It's the faith in GGP that's important, and which I totally agree on with you!

Well, IMHO, that's a no brainer, at these ludicrous sp levels, if you can/are able to.

Like a lot of people here, I've been topping up, as a medium/long term investment in GGP, at every opportunity, from below 1p, including, more recently, under the heavily manipulated situation we've had for nearly a year now, and have done so yet again today.

Anyone that has done, even the basic research, knows very well where this is going medium/long term, and the usual, and increasing, troll derampers, paid or not, that we've seen for several years now, are just like water of a duck's back to the researched among us! Just ignore! We've seen it all before for years!
