For something like this to be "confirmed" is something that needs very clear verification. In legal terms it is a very bold statement from a Managing Director of any company and one which is market sensitive.

I look forward to any further information.

My personal favorite comments were about Scallywag, and I wondered if SD was dropping a slight hint (?):

* Plans for Scallywag this year given its proximity to Telfer and Hav?
- Plan to drill there this year as best way to unlock value in SP is by having exploration success at one of our 100% owned tenements.
- Then could have a discussion with NCM about well do we bring this into the Hav JV or do we develop this ourselves.
- Thinks if we were to bring it into the JV then it would give an opportunity to revisit the JV from ‘First Principles’ to both GGP & NCM’s mutual benefit so it would be a tremendous opportunity for us to have.

* Have you found anything at Scally that indicates that you have something special there or still hoping?
- Got some really high-quality targets there, continue to drill and pleased with some of the intercepts we have there but equally we don’t go and pattern drill as we’re quite selective.
- Lots of reasons to feel buoyant about it but at the end of the day it’s about translating that optimism and opportunities into defined mineralisation.

I wonder if SD has been discussing this whole thing about bringing Scallywag into the J/V with SB?

Does anyone know, or did anyone maybe ask SD, if Newcrest still have first option on Scallywag now that the farm-in agreement is complete? (During the farm-in period, Newcrest had a first right of refusal over the remainder of our Paterson project (Black Hills, Paterson Range East and portions of the Havieron licence)).

I meant to put a question to SD on this in the Q&A, but didn't have a chance.

Yup, the clueless, ivory-towered, city economists get it completely wrong, yet again!

It was just like waiting for a bus here last night, and then three come along together!

Ongoing strength in the sp again, going into the close, looks positive for this northward movement to continue. Still wondering if we'll soon see a TR1 notification drop, as the steady burn upwards continues unabated.

Hopefully 34p+ to close.

I'd agree magic! I'm no geologist, but it's certainly worked best for us at Havieron, where Gervaise Heddle & Callum Baxter had the balls to drill deep, unlike the previous drilling, including of course by Newcrest Mining!

IMHO, it's now pretty clear that 14p is the 'new' 13p, as the games go on!

Indications of accumulation? Will be interesting to see if we get a TR-1 RNS soon!
