Just seen your story mate ,good on you ! , that’s right up my street ,
nature can be cruel but saving any injured or helpless beast shows true character & empathy .

I’ve had numerous animals over the years saved from the jaws of death from rejection or injury,
Saved a duckling which was minutes from death attacked & left in baking sun ,

nurtured it back to life & ended up staying with us , a beautiful Mallard called waffles use to sit on my Labrador’s back & wander round the house .
