This is apparently the calculation to get to the number
Days to cover = current short interest ÷ average daily share volume

a rising number can be a positive as can indicate short squeeze however not above 8 as can indicate a heavy shorted stock & obviously a small number indicates little short interest
however small shorts under 0.5% don’t have to be reported .

Cost to borrow

The fee to clients from brokers to borrow stock the higher the number the more difficult to short / borrow shares

Morning, Same evidence as yourself Bloomberg transaction & I believe there was a tweet at the time as well , I believe the stock was sold & repurchased directly , that’s a lot of stock to purchase through the markets
. The LSE history for some reason is switched off otherwise would rummage back for the info at the time of Bloomberg & Tweet , however doesn’t really matter now we have moved many steps forward since then .

Ac sold/ transferred the stock directly to veles for an urgent cash call - all noted in an RNS ,
Since then has repurchased the stock back from veles directly not on the market .

That may have been the reason for the drop in stock price in jan , however was jumped on via shorting groups to fuel the flames ,

Unfortunately for them an RNS was released & instant bounce back & at the time some of the poisonous hornswaggle been spouted on here was very toxic , by a group of mouthy Shorters who all were proved completely incorrect .

Have noted previously, the stock price has been traded between 20-30 for a year now apart from one dip south & one nudge north .

Look at the 1 yr chart since the stock joined the MSCI index & BR got the algo handcuffs controlling this stock & as JUDGE notes & JT ( god bless the Dude ) used to note .

WINS always control this stock , everyday sitting with the largest order in both directions # I’m in charge .

If you compare the stock price graph irrespective of value over the last 12 months compared to the 12 months previous , a whole different trading environment.

Small shorts under 0.5 % & cfds not included in that that total , & the toxic noise on deck by certain posters are associated with these smaller trading shorts ,

Rather than stock chasing for the puppet masters or perhaps doing both as certainly an increase on shenanigans since BR got involved last year

Certainly had a group of very toxic bozos on deck last June just before JUB got Napalmed .

Whatever the reason for a short open it must be closed at some point & if the big one drops & your caught short , you’ve been JUBBED .
