All very good speculative news.
I have heard mutterings about driverless trucks,- thats the route that technology is taking. And trucks do not go down with CV19.

Whilst remaining quite cautious and controlled ( not easy ) I reckon that PLUS 1.5p / 2.0 p is not an unreasonable expectation.

I can only believe that this NCM confirmation will rally some SP support, and the inference of mentioning that the drill results willbe released on 30th April suggests that they already have degrees of confidence in the outcomes........... not that I / we have ever had any doubt. this should now see the start of a meaningful northwards trajectory. A moment that I have long waited for.

Paddy, ProfQ, and other eminent and knowledgeable board miners, - No wish to add on any further work burden to an already industrious group, but I am a mining numpty, and would welcome some simple explanation of the next steps in mine construction. You talk of this 900 odd metre line to the centre of the resource. Is this suggested as the " decline " from an external point on the edge of the resource, down to below ground ( 1.4/1.5 metres ) from which point the block cave or any other chosen mining system can be commenced.?????
Or is there a probability that there will be opencast extraction.??? Or possibly both ????
Will the initial mine target the high grade zones using block cave , before sweeping up the lower grade zones later on.
Am I correct in thinking that most of the gold and the CU ore is below 350 /450 metres ( on Havieron that is ) and open pit mining would require monumental cubic metres of topping to be removed before being able to access the rich sources of ore.???
I assume that once regulatory permissions are obtained ( and NCM have agreed the deal with GH - hopefully soon and CV uninterrupted )), NCM will roll in the heavy gear and go hell for leather for the shiny stuff???
Will they build a rail connection to Telfer or may be use these new driverless trucks ???
Sorry to ask so many seemingly daft questions - ask me to set up a SIPP or whip up a genuine Sauce Hollandaise , and I am in my element.
May I just add that it is always helpful tome, and I suspect many other boarders , if any tecchy stuff is written with clear explanatory style.

The astonishing thing about this board ( after eliminating all those who prefer to discuss the cov19 or throw abuse about ) is that since Newmont, the overall trajectory has been ever forward , ever upward, more encouraging, more exciting, more ounces au,
more lbs of cu, more metres of width, depth and length, -,............... and all that on a relatively small handful of news and announcements. The best , and the very best , is still to come and not too long to wait. 2020 will uncover most of our expectations.
The MRE debate and the SP calculations are wide and varied but certainly not minimal, and the drilling continues. Scallywag, and the rest of the licences have still to factually enter the arena. And all the facts and data and satellite pictures that appear are wonderfully scrutinised and analysed and evaluated by our resident band of much admired experts.
Gentlemen,.....it is a pleasure to hold investment in GPP ( more so having been viciously scarred by Quindell and SXX ), and to be involved with such high quality fellow board members. I am in awe.

Not long to wait now.

The POG is undoubtably on a strong upward trajectory,despite the odd hiccup of sellers moving to fund cash shortfalls in this very uncertain general market. Listen to one of the globes leading gold experts - BillMurphy of Cafemetropole .com . DT Questor recently tipped Centamin , and gold exploration and gold mininig are looking like very much safer havens for the short, medium and possibly the longer term . The worlds supplies of gold are depleting rapidly, which can only infer a rising price.
But take a look at w. Australia, - The Paterson Region , where massive new discoveries ( copper as well as gold ) are now being made. Newcrest have just done a JV with GGP on their Havieron resource, - probably just about the largest discovery in the last 20 / 30 years, with an MRE to be announced within 3 /4 months . Newmont and Rio Tinto are moving in . Tons more licences still to be test drilled in a stable political environment, and ( hopefully ) , sufficiently remote to be Covid 19 free. If there was ever a low risk investment tobe made, then this is probably it.

Bamps, I am not being critical. I am a totally optimistic Yorkshire numpty , who knows absolutely nowt about gold or mining except what i read and absorb from this board. And am I not fortunate that there are those who can instruct me. However my simple maths is reasonably proficient, and I just assume that something measuring 300 X 600 X 600/ 800 is going to hold a lot more gold than the original measured ore body dimensions.
And my even more simple maths tells me that if I multiply an SP of 20p/ 25p / 30p / ??????? X my quite significant holding ( using my calculator of necessity ) ,I do end up with a figure that tells me the rest of my few remaining years , ( and the rest of my childrens years ) are going to be very, very comfortable.

Bamps, you are quoting measurements from the original ore body dimensions . 450X 150 X 600 metres . 40.59 million cubic metres . Times 3 = say 120 million tons of ore body.
Hav. has grown in size now -by how much now I am uncertain, but probably looking at up to 250 X 600 X ??? depth 600 ???
and that is a massive increase in high grade ore tonnage . could be twice the original .

The great thing for GGP is that once Have has confirmed its MRE,and the investing world has taken note and the institutions start to recognise the future for NCM and GGP, and the SP has rocketed accordingly to ( ?? 25p-30p- 35p ???), .....then Scallwag, now technically high risk and barely valued in the GGP SP , will start to be recognised as maybe not such a risk , and even more so as the early drilling assays are published. Just a continuation of HAV in this amazing Paterson region.
Not to mention the rest of the GGP portfolio.
The future is bright..... bright .....bright.

D.T.today, Questor in the biz section tips Centamin to benefit in a hot market.
Comments on gold price struggling as investors sell to raise cash to meet margin calls, but reckons recovery is now overdue.
On centamin he quotes "" their overall, all in sustained cost of production "" is between $870 and $920 an ounce.
Obviously that depends on shallow or deep mining proportions, but with POG now well over $1600 and rising, and forecast generally to break the $2000 barrier, ..... then the future has a rosy glow. Further dash for cash in the equity markets could cause stutters, but central banks and governments are hell bent on preventing that happening.
SP looking good today. I am told that most financialpundits are now reading this board to see what Paddy Gall has to say before writing their articles. Thanks Pad and those other mining /engineering/ gold wise contributors who add so much to this board.. I learn by the minute, but please, please, please....... those who wish to discuss anything other than GGP and surrounding subject interest, ...... take it to another board. There is too much STUFF on this board which is tedious and occasionally offensive.

Lenz, Just remember that although you and most of this board dream, live and breathe GGP, morning , noon and night , 99.9% of the rest of the world have almost certainly either never heard og GGP or if they have , probably only momentarily , and undoubtably insufficiently to get the adrenalin moving, or the pulse beating at top rate of knots. When the BIG news hits the fan, the press make up their stories, and the stats astound even we captivated shareholders, THEN do not lose sleep over selling. You will get your price ...PLUS.... PLUS.... then sit back and decide what you do with your massive gains.

I am curious as to why the NCM bulletin board is so little used; with the amount of content - the last entry was 11th march, - you would never even guess that this mining company was on the verge of a stupendous step forward with GGP.
Does the current development not interest the Aussie investorate, or am I a bit overblown in imagining that the GGP tie up is only big from a GGP perspective.
The board is also deficient in quite a lot of info on fundamentals, financial diary,etc. etc.

Good thinking J span, and it would be brilliant for GGP to achieve that financial state.
But on balance , I am happier having GH and co. discovering a succession of massive gold / copperf / silver / cobalt prospects and selling them on to the major miners, and then paying out appropriate cash divis to we poor shareholders. 15p / 20p a share with each prospect sale would do nicely .

When GH makes a special divi return to us shareholders , as I believe he will, I am sure that he will not forget that GH and his fellow board members are also shareholders . and there is a limit to what GGP can sensibly spend money on.

Glad I bought all my holdings when the spread was around 3%. But everything is topsy turvy at the moment.
I cannot see , even on the current estimated reserves, that the buyout will be less than 25p, - just for Havieron. The rest of the exploration estate is still all finger in the air, and should never be sold anyway until GH has completed his research. Scallwag could be the equal of or greater than Hav., without even adding in sensible estimates for the rest.
25p produces nearly 1 Billion. So GH can then pay his loyal support a decent cash special divi ( 10p a share would be nice for starters ) and that would still leave GGP with 15p a share ( $600 million plus $50 Million cash, plus whatever value starts to get thrown up by Scallywag drilling, plus some values for Panorama and Tasmania, ) providing tons of cash for lots more drilling and prospecting. Sill then holding our shares with massive future prospects, and some decent cash to update the Lamborghini, or whatever takes your fancy.
But we will have to wait for the speeded up MRE calculation, - July ??? August ??? , when hopefully this topsy turvy world will be recovering some normality.
