Just a thought,- If there are any entrepreneurial Gang Bang starters , Jerry , Panama , and I will invite you on a short educational Gang bang starter course ( only a modest prosecco based charge ) at our next early October meet. Just give us a forewarning post. Look up the Stag online , and book a room - adjacent suites to Speedy and Mush. Our time is yours.

Bamps, So far we have reserved 3 tables outdoors, next to the river with parasols, and fortunately , but part planned, we have been able to meet in balmy , sunny evening weather. But have also talked with the manager, and provisionally we have a room reserved for an October meet . Choose a GOOD venue carefully. Most of them are also looking for good spenders ( tricky to find in Yorkshire ) , and hopefully any new / next Gang Bang will first be discussing an SP of around 18p or better, or MUCH better. Be able to order pints - not halves.

I do not wish to offer any sanctimonious advice to anyone, but having noticed regional stirrings of Gang interest, - as the Stag meetings have been - I think - so successful, I would encourage other areas to do the same.
I did set up a Millhouse Gang in SXX days , and met some very nice guys , but that was destroyed by Fraser.
I can only advise, find someone with the time and enthusiasm, gather a couple of local friends , find a very good venue , make sure you find a VERY GOOD venue, set up a meet, advertise it on the board , and turn up. If it only starts with 2 / 3 / 4 / people - so what. Have a good evening.Then tell people. promote it and run a second one.
My experience , and my efforts, which I give freely because I love meeting nice people with similar interests and aims. Fortunately , we had a good turn out, requests for a second one , and now we will run a third, because the recipe is working, Every single person I have met on a Stag Bang, has been interesting , kind, contributory, and the rest. Set up a list for e-mail / telephone / internal contact , and circulate info , - it is interesting and it is fun. We probably have a group of around 25 if you include GH, our honorary Chairman. He has advised me that he will buy me a pint once the Covid 19 situation resolves. It's a bit pricey even for him to pop over from Perth for the evening.
I actually see the Stag Gang being around in several years time in one form or another. Maybe we have been lucky - Fred stepped up with me to help do the organisation, Panama held my hand , Speedy , Jerry , Dim , Mush , others all gave huge support, and we now have a solid core of GGP knowledge and data amongst a growing bunch of delightful friends.
I can only suggest that those in the other far flung regions of this GGP Empire, just try starting it- particularly Yorkshire, my place of birth . If only three or four turn up,nothing is lost. Take wives and colleagues along. Enjoy a pint with pseudonyms with faces. It will be worth it. And talking to faces is much better than being harangued by an idiotic pseudonym poster.

Alternatively , If you were prepared to accept, I have a spare room in our bungalow, and would be happy to accommodate you. Let me know . Drive to the Stag and follow me home - I am about 10 miles south of the Stag. 20 mins.drive.

I have spent a lot of time in the Air Balloon as well - first went there in 1958, up the hill as a pillion rider on a Triumph 500. Wonderful.

Bamps, - Do you know my mate Hugh Goodwin, he has been much involved in Gloucester, he a construction man, and I believe involved with the council.
Back in the old days I was much involved with Whitbread and Stroud/The George at Birdlip ( thanks , names slip with age ), South Wales . A lovely company then.

Mush mate - you planning to be the first renegade. I am shocked. I had thought of you as one of the first secure pillars in the Stag Gang, and will break your arm if you quit.
As for you guys in Yorkshire ( and even Lancashire ), find a venue with some accommodation as well. Any venue now will relish 15 / 20 guys ( or gals -but you aint having Fred or Panama ) turning up and spending some good GGP gain. If they do beds ,all the better for those who will travel 50 miles or more and take a room. If SP goes to 20p/ 25p / 30p..........then buy the venue and re-name it, ...we now have the Stag in Goldmining, am sure that you will find some appropriate appellation.
I will try and make your opening gathering. I have a good friend in Glossop who came down to the Stag last Wednesday, so I will have somewhere to stay up there --- Glossop.....now there is an excellent central place adjacent to both east and west.
I could bring Mush upwith me for good company.

John - One of the great things about a social face to face is that you do get faces to fit the pseudonyms. You get interesting abuse free debate, you get to have a nice drink, and if you are in Yorkshire , you do need to learn the language or take along a translator. As it happens I am a Tyke, and when much younger, every relation ( bar 1 ) came from within 10 miles of Headingly. Even after a lifetime of education and work in the South, I still know where my roots are.
I would happily encourage Yorkshire to form a group - if not a nice pub by a river, then up on the Dales in one of those gorgeous villages . A couple of years ago I spent a week in Hebden and toured Swaledale. Brilliant territory.

@John678 - Thanks John. Oddly enough,I was on the SXX board and received a stream of abuse and accusations when I posted a story about my son meeting a recruitment guy in Portugal, who was just in the process of commencing hiring about 40 engineers for SXX , Fred sprang to my defence - I did not know her then. Last Wednesday at the Stag, she met my son, a GGP shareholder now, as did several other attendees. My innocence was established. Fred is now a most excellent friend , and helps me run the Stag Gang.
Life is good, GGP is a unique 1 in a 1000 company, GH is a great CEO, the stream of brilliant pending news / announcements is terrific, GDXJ ??? I believe is huge , the SP will rocket this September, POG is on a good trajectory, ...........what is there to dislike.

You could drive down and stay at the Stag ( should be able to afford it at 15p - But when we have the next meet - early to mid October, The SP is going to be 25p / 30p , and you can have the room next to Speedy and Jerry )
By the way , - not the Devils Elbow - but The Devils Punchbowl . Nearly right though.
The Meet has a lot of Meat on the discussion bones. Paddy hopes to be there. And there are some very nice , amiable brains there. A true Goldfest.

@Wasred....As you say The Stag is great fun, but we also have a few hours ,face to face with some of the very knowledgeable brains on the board, and other great guys who want to pick those brains . The Stag is an idyllic venue that permits those exchanges between some very, very nice
( and non abusive ) people. The GGP Corporate Brokers have attended.It has been for me ,and I know for several others, a genuine pleasurable learning experience , with a number of people that I will be meeting and having a drink with for a number of years hence. GH will join us when he is able to get back to the UK.
Itmay bore you Spy but it don't bore me.

THINGS are looking good -POG - SP - GDXJ - assay results in Scallywag and Hav. - Broker reports, - all added exciting ingredients into the GGP pudding.
