I am a non tech investor , but recognise the potential future of both HUR and the SP if we hook up and oil starts to flow........particularly at a rate of 20,000 bopd.
I have looked at the shipping charts and I think I have been able to determine that the Aoka Mitsu is well west of the Shetlands with a tug alongside. On arrival how long does the AM take to anchor in its fixed position ???
Those seeming weather experts who are able to predict wave heights, troughs, wind speeds appear to believe that there will be an operational window sometime later on in Monday ( 18th march ) in which the AM will hook up to the bouy with its new rope ( about 6 hours with luck ???? I do not know if correct ) .
I presume that they will then attach the connecting flow lines to enable oil to flow and that would be almost immediate???
Obviously lots of checks and tests on seals and flow rates ??? A week or two ????? or longer ?????
Assuming that good oil flows at the predicted rate, then hey presto.
Problems..... what are they likely to be. I assume that once the flow lines are connected, and the AM is in a stable position, then weather should not interfere with normal process.
And once all this is done , then with luck a positive reaction to the SP, which I guess must at least end up somewhere near to £1-00.
Are my thought processes and understandins near right ..... or totally adrift ?????
