Quite a good recovery from the drop on Friday, I do often see this sort of over selling then partial reversal. Probably go down again tomorrow with people taking advantage of the increased price - I often see that too!

I built a Googlw sheet for this, it tells me my return for each stock based on dividends received - but also include the dividend when it goes ex div. I have this set up to show me both annual and annualized returns for each and also tells me for my whole holding. Unfortunately it does require me to do some manual work but a lot is automated - it brings in div dates and amounts from dividendMax as well as live share prices.

I'm curious how many have stayed since those higher valuation days. I bought last year, just bought some more just before prices popped up a bit after falling all day. Seems we've been hoping for inflation to fall for quite a while now, I've bet quite highly on that happening over the last couple of years. My REITs have done well though

SOHO also ex div today but quite an increase, I don't understand that share really but I hold.

There are plenty of high dividend stocks to switch into - REITs and others. If the discount stays high who's to blame?

PS I also hold CRT, takeover announced today

I did well out of CSH a couple of years ago., I have a variety of REITs hoping for takeovers. THRL has also gone up today. SUPR and WHR look good though my biggest holding is SOHO.

REITs are our of favour, yields are strong. I bought in to a number on the hope that there'll be takeover interest, I did well out of Civitas. If investors aren't interested in buying in at the discounted prices a takeover is the best option for us.

I hold SOHO which is similar, hopefully they can both maintain their dividends!

Braver than me to buy so many, I have 51k bought at just under 45p last year sometime. Was looking at a decent profit at times.

I think generally the western economies act similarly on interest rate changes, as often have similar issues, but also want to keep the currencies from getting too strong - or weak.

I had CIV and switched the funds after sale to SOHO - as many did I think. Worked out well enough but I did go a bit REIT crazy as have quite a variety which I added to my more general unit trust portfolio

The level of dividend shouldn't really influence the price as the NAV remains higher than if so much cash paid out - people do like a dividend though! I'm in as discount is high and selling assets at valuation when possible makes sense. I am hoping for share price to rise as interest rates fall but I've been waiting for quite a while now! I'm relatively new to REITs, got lucky with Civitas, now hold a variety but SOHO is my biggest holding

Well you might not have any cash in there and have maxed out your subscription - would have to sell something - perhaps would have to sell the RGL shares in order to buy the offer ones

Those without enough spare cash or who hold in an ISA have a problem. Doing this with no time to sell seems wrong, a rights issue gives the share holder a choice to sell the rights. The underwriters must be laughing with such a massive increase in shares at such a low price - these shares will account for approx 2/3 of the shareholding and the underwriters could make millions out of this with shareholders losing out.

Yes I've seen but I don't understand how that works - of someone bought yesterday they're after the record date but before the ex date so should get them but the person who sold was the owner as of the record date - they can't both get the rights. Sorry for my ignorance!

Seems odd to me that the rights would be back dated like that as means trading wouldn't have related to that information - eg you'd have made money by accident and those that bought since will lose out - before the price fall anyway.

Quite a rollercoaster this stock, I came from CSH as I'm sure many did. Came close to 65 in Aug, now dropped so much. Never understood really why CSH struggled so much and now think the same here
