I think the BOD should have RNS,d the bid deadline change.......I just came across it as I was fishing about for info and thought to go into the PVE site..............it's a timeline that's been out there as a stake in the ground........as mentioned on here it can be read two ways............too much interest or too little.........I was going to add more but decided to buy into two other energy companies to spread my risk...........so still holding original shares..........don't want to lose out if all goes to plan..........risk v reward and all that.......:)

week I was expecting SP wise.........was hoping for positive news on farm in and licence...........something along the lines of GBP giving Namacor another 3% for the licence renewal for a further 2 years and an oil major onboard for a working interest............though large chunk of GBPs remaining 70% would have to be offered most likely ?

on here weeks ago.......if you dig deep into GBP website you will see they two further two year options on the lease. Quite sure the renewal will have been well under discussion with the Namibian gov when both Shell and Total spudded these wells. I am hoping for an RNS to drop Mon or Tues on both licence and interested parties. AIMO....:)

thinking why the PVE slides on farm in have not been updated with Shell and Total finds.......could be that talks already well ahead in terms of expression of interest and now into "bid" discussions...........AIMO of course....:)

I remember thinking Gervaise Heddle was pr**k when I was in GGP. Got in at 0.5p and got out not much beyond 1p as I just thought he was in it for the lifestyle. Turned out I was the pr**k…….hit a high of 40p……..probably not the only one that bailed too early however maybe just maybe with GBP we are in here at the right time in the right place and whatever the CEO has done in the past, you if we remain patient, we might be rewarded handsomely……not long to expression of interest deadline…….one full week of trading left then ?….:)

to get my head round how big this Shell find is...
If it is 8km long, a depth of 60m and a width of say 200m.......that's 96 million cubic metres.
1 cubic metre = 1000litres.
96million x 1000 = 96 billion litres
159 litres in a barrel of oil.
96b / 159
= 604 million barrels of oil !
What if the width is 1000m.........!!......:)
