It is undoubtedly a major oil discovery. My rough estimates are of recoverable oil exceeding 100 million barrels from this prospect. That is worth another 150p-210p per share at the moment. The companies have not disclosed the net oil pay intervals for all reservoirs but these will be substantial. Very Very strong buy in the short term with share reaching its highs by August this year, in my opinion!

Hi Horse1, Sorry about the earlier post, im getting different storys from mt friends in the city, but the recent surge at close of play suggests Monday could be the day. Im not gonna post until asked from now on as i think it misleads people, im in @1.40p and 1.72p......good luck. PS; IFL is a buy in my book, big buys and relisting on the LSE soon, if it gets to 1.20 it will be in the FTSE 250 and will attract index linked funds.i think! Good Luck!

Bought these @1.07p last month and sold @94p, just yesterday...god im hopeless at this anyone got any recomendations of shares that might produce something that might get me out of this hole i have dug?

Snippet of article in well respected Italian Newspaper: LNG is planning to buy the italian "superenalotto"...for 100m euros, after all the new rules in italy about gambling on line and shops...the italian market is valueted about 60b. euros...

I have just returned from the AGM and feel quite upbeat. They will be issuing a trading statement tomorrow, but in the meantime I though investors might find it useful to know what was said at the AGM (note that none of this is inside information, but plays a useful confirmatory role to investors). 1. I believe the board really does know its stuff and their market. 2. The franchise strategy should yield some v good results, that's clear. 3. They're moving into non-sports activities later this year (they are already licensed), so that should hedge exposures to single games. 4. Expansion in Romania is going full throttle and later this year we should see this start (emphasis on start) to bear fruit; there are a couple of other jurisdictions they'll move into afterwards. 5. Their Italian bets are naturally hedged to a degree by their non-Italian activities at Betshop.com, the tendency for betters to make "accumulator" bets and the regularity of bets (big matches are the exception, not the rule). 6. The vast majority of their franchisees in Italy are dedicated (ie. it's their primary business) so have a real stake in the business, and all franchises are subject to flexible termination provisions. 7. In the naturally football-quiet summer months, many Italians place bets on basketball and this should keep LNG busy in Italy. 8. Wow, i have never had a worse day on the markets than today, all 3 shares i bought have gone down and the 3 i sold to purchase them have gone up. Are their any other investors out there who have had a day as bad as that?

Thanks again Davius, i think i will stay away from oil stocks for now and buy stocks that i think will actually make a profit, topped up my LNG today as a little weakness appeared!

These shares used to trade at nearly £5, what's their history and while im at it, do you ever punt on oil discovery plays, i have not had one success, they allways go down, debbie's been talking about petrel could go to £10 from 76p, surely this is just a dream?

People selling LNG, i would top up people at these levels, anything under 20p represents real value, this are on a forward PE of a mere 6 compared to PRTY and like which are trading on over 20+!

Thanks for feedback Davius, we are obviously singing from the same hym sheet, im gonna get rid of half my TAN if the get to 1.50 (bought @95p) and keep the rest long term, how bought you?
