I queried this with the Share Centre yesterday and this was their response. -

Apparently you complete a form and send it to the new broker and they will transfer it on your behalf.
I think this could be a shrewd decision by the company if 97% of the shares traded are on the Nasdaq. The FTSE listing is too volatile and not representative of the companies value.

I find the total and utter lack of confidence in this share really really disheartening, although it's more understandable in the states. The company has displayed hugely positive results that just aren't reflected in the share price. I never thought that I would see this share which I once owned at 13p pre consolidation ( so it would now be worth £6.50 when it's actually worth 65p) I know Rhodi like me held these shares for years and I was very sad but not surprised that he baled out at approx 2p old money. I totally blame JAK for this farce and not the current CEO who seems to be doing his best. Who can can forget the results of phase 2 when rather than concentrating on the positives of the drug results JAK put out the statement that 'it missed its primary goal'

I must confess im surprised so many are selling off their shares. Unlike COPD we should get the news either officially or through leaks that the drug is working or not and that news is only 30 days away.

Since the 21st August according to my maths there have been 78,403 shares sold and 163,590 shares purchased in VRP and whats the MMs contribution to boosting the share price soar on the doubling of buys against sells - they drop it from 79p to 75p. If they they dont open tomorrow back at 79p this will reinforce my view they are intentionally trying to force this share down.

Referring back to my suggestion that the MMs are trying to drive this share lower, I find it a hell of a coincidence that the only 2 corrections made in the last couple of days (25k and 200k SELLS) are the highest and second highest selling trades on the share. When trading, I put more value on the direction of a share and the 200k trade could easily spook me into selling. The regulator should investigate this.

As you say it’s just VRP. But traders just need to recover confidence in the share. I can’t believe how cheap this share is still with the potential for Covid and COPD. I reckon it will climb again tomorrow before dipping back a bit.

In my opinion the MMs are currently trying to drive down the VRP price rather than reacting to buys/ sells. The selling price was 97p and is now around 90p despite there being virtually no sells. If you try and get a quote to get the an up to date price you can't get one and need to leave it to the dealing team to do it blind for you. They are hoping that people think there are a lot of sells prompting them to a;sp sell so they get their commission. At the moment people dont appear to be falling for this and aren't selling despite the price dropping.

Come on Bewise fess up to being high up in VRP, I have said so before and your post on Monday endorses that view. Your knowledge over the years has been far more than the average lay investor.

True, but im happy that it is stable which gives a better launch pad for the next big rise when it comes. We might get a reasonable start tomorrow with that late buy of 40k shares.

I think the MMs are driving this share down so they make their cut on sells and buys which they obviously wouldn't if we all sit on them. Look at this morning there is only a net 40k shares sold representing 13% of the company according to the MMs . Someones having a laugh!!! - at our expense

I’ve had the same feeling. I also think the announcement will come soon that phase 3 has started which will see the shares lift.

Im not too surprised it has dropped a little but from previous experiences wouldnt be surprised if this shot up again in a flash especially as more results come out from the other phase 2 products. I learnt from bitter experience when selling VRP in a panick in case it kept dropping only to see it take off again ,way beyond my selling price. I've decided now just to leave my current shares aloan and just keep adding to them.

Yes my thoughts exactly. I am hoping that the American markets like us will have a bit of a dip on opening and climb steadily thereafter dragging VRP up. The Americans havent had the regular dissapointments that we've had for 10 - 12 years as investors through nerves sell off and lets face it at 2p old money this share is worth multiples of that price if phase 3 succeeds. Just my thoughts so watch it drop like a stone.

The sell off sizes at the moment are tiny as people are panicking about a potential drop. As there are no big sells as at 8.30am, can see this climbing again- as this share deserves at this ridiculously low price.

Rhodi, i must confess I would be thorougly dissapointed if this share only went up to £3 next year. I have been in this share for years and rember it going up to 15p approx when the shares were a penny. We are currently at 2p old money which although rewarding for me its still a shocking low price and could see this going to £3 this year. I know investors are nervous about this share as in the past it kept crashing as investors got nervous and cashed in. I am hoping over the next few weeks they will begin to realise the share is going to keep climbing. I was an idiot on Friday selling 20% of my shares at 80p as it did start to drop frpm 95 to 80p only to see it climb to £1.00. I wont make that mistake again and will need to buy back my 20% when it drops a little. I bet theres dozens of investors in the same boat.

I have to admit, i think this prise may drop a bit for a day or two from its current high point but nos that the funding is secured I can only see this climbing now with little dips in the mix.

One of the things that amazes me is the justifiable costs of £120 million if that is correct. Im sure I read in the RNS there were to be 800 patients tested on phase 3. I googled yesterday and it would appear each patient earns approx £1000 to be on a trial for COPD for the complete course so that totals less than £1 million so where does the other £119 million go Maybe directors salararies.?

I do feel that investors in VRP are currently on a ship drifting through the doldrums waiting for the storm, the storm is the funding for Phase 3. If we get funding and its a good deal the ship will be blown to the promised land in double quick time but if no funding is there, the bottom of ocean awaits the ship. Fingers crossed!!!!

Yes I agree about the corpoate investors although we have seen 2 corporate investors drop out in the last year, this is why I feel if we can sort the funding, this share should take off.
I appreciate your frustration about dilution but currently i'm more concerned about the company collapsing if the funding isnt there and when you think of the dilution we have already suffered, a bit more won't make much difference. If however they can sort it , it may dive at first for a few weeks but from then on it will just increase as theres nothing to stand in its way unless phase 2 is not representitive of the drugs efficacy.
