The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Lots of talk today about how a No Deal Brexit is likely to increase the amount of dispute resolution litigation.
Keeping a very close eye on this. Seems like a company well placed regardless of the Brexit outcome.
That's interesting. Guy seems to be a normal PI with links to Velocity Trade (https://velocitytrade.com/global-home/). Looking at his twitter he's been in PREM for quite some time so has likely put in 100s of £ks here.
Strictly anecdotal, of course, but tried to go see the new Spider-Man on Saturday (nearly three weeks after release, on the weekend Lion King came out). Hour and a half before the showing, only two seats available (not together so didn't end up going).
Good.
Someone's gonna be getting a kicking for not closing their short at sub-3p.
Just given it a go. Signal is poor at my place but still got great quality, virtually no delay between jumps.
Impressed. Will check it out again when the bigger acts are on to see how it's holding up.
Neds and Chairman putting their money where their mouths are. Nice.
Exciting but also a bit scary. We need this to go well. Don't get many second chances in this industry.
If this does go well, I'd expect this to fly early next week. 10p not out of the question.
Finding some of these reactions incredibly bizarre. Obviously this whole thing is a bit ridiculous, but blaming GR is very odd. Claiming that GR misled the market months ago when the currency was only made sole legal tender this week? You’ll have to try harder than that. This is unequivocally a complete swindle courtesy of Zim. For once, GR does not bear the responsibility here.
But that's what it would be. A partnership with the BBC. BBC offer coverage of Glasto/R+L, but they don't offer VR. BBC pay Melody to produce the VR content, which is offered through the BBC's platform. Hardly rocket science.
Do you really think the car makers for whom every gram and every speck of paint on their car is precision engineered are going to allow another camera to get shoved somewhere on the car/driver to allow for VR?
Based on what? You're just making it up. Also an awful idea so let's hope not.
Nice. I'll be honest, I nearly sold down at the bottom here (average is about 11p), but the last couple weeks have been great.
We just have to keep our fingers crossed that Wireless goes well. If it's good quality, no outages, no buffering, etc. then it will be massive for us. I've always said festivals are the market that Melody is most likely to be a success in - individual artists' shows are fine but the demand will never be big for the vast vast majority of them. A partnership with the BBC for all the festivals they cover could be round the corner if Wireless goes well - and that's a company-maker IMO.
Just saw a Farewill advert during the break on ENG vs AFG in the cricket.
Think any immediate movement will be decided by who buys into the new issue.
Yep. We know there's been a big uplift in the value of quite a few of our investments since the Interims, but always a struggle to value these private companies officially so we'll have to see if there's any valuation info they have which isn't in the public domain.
Liberum set as buy with 650 target, so have Goldman Sachs
'Following the transaction, Yooya will expand its sector focus and become the first e-commerce marketing platform to focus on CBD infused products that are designed to awaken the body's natural healing system and promote better health and sleep; and products that safely eliminate the psychoactive THC from hemp.'
So they plan on using Yooya as a CBD marketing platform. That makes me think we'll continue to hold the shares.
