People seem to be forgetting that we've got c.£225k of ARCM shares that we can sell if we desperately need cash.
So the question is - would PIs prefer a placing of 100m or so shares, or to sell ARCM? I'm firmly in the former camp, personally.
Look at the RNS history. There have been so so so few released on a Friday. Say what you like about GR, but he knows a positive Friday RNS is a waste. Virtually all of the ones we have had on Fridays, have been negative. So if anything I'd say it's more likely that no RNS today (especially after the bell) is good news.
That means it's done for all intents and purposes. Seems like they're just waiting on someone to put pen to paper. Anyone who's ever worked in a big organisation knows how difficult this can be when you have big wigs that are hard to actually find let alone have more than a moment with.
Good stuff.
Think we'll see this back in the 150 range in a flash once the markets stabilise. Good top-up opp.
That isn't necessarily true. GR has a history of intra-day (or post-close) RNSes.
As an aside, some research I did a little while ago shows that before midday on a Tuesday in the most common intra-day time for RNSes. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but yeah.
Nothing to do with Thumbs in ears. It's just a case of not being totally thick. It will never happen, there's no point wasting everyone's time and money on it. I wouldn't vote either way. Totally pointless.
This EGM will never happen, and if it does it will never be successful. Even in the unlikely event that 10% of shares in issue vote for it, you will never get near 50% at the meeting. Your tantrums will end up costing yourselves and the company money.
If you want to get rid of GR, your best bet is to pressure MF/BoD to have them include it in the next AGM. It still won't get through, but at least you're not wasting everyone's time and money to such an extent.
Though, to be fair, watching the webinar comments yesterday, it's clear how many thick people are invested here so I guess it's no surprise so many of you are acting thick.
