My stance is more simplistic, the shorts haven't budged one iota and that's a good enough reason for me to wait for a better opportunity, they tend to know what they are doing in my experience

Shouldn't there be a statement from the company on this sort of rise ?

I count myself lucky, with all of the previous profitable trades I've made here I'm well up but down on the silly buyback I made at 71. It would take a drop of about 30% from here for me to be losing overall so I guess that makes my average around 42p, not bad in the circumstances and worth holding for a potential bid

He's on about the Reverse Takeover from Mountfield into HELD a UK Spac, I was one of the lucky few on that one who actually got out with a profit before it dived

Same frustrating hold for me too, director buys, profit beats, and still it's like going through treacle. In profit though so that's a plus. No doubt we'll all sell just at the wrong time

What do I think ? I think they are in serious trouble with cash at precisely the wrong time. I'm not going anywhere near it atm unless they get seriously good news (not jam), and history says even that might be pre-empting a raise. I just pop in here periodically for a fun read - it's quite cathartic in these troubled times
