Vascular, rubbish, there are plenty of companies on AIM that make money, grow cash, pay dividends etc,and give investor value, I know because they are the ones that I try and hunt out, but you won't find many at the bottom end of the market. It so annoys me when people says the whole of AIM is corrupt, a decent percentage is I agree and there are a huge amount who try but fail, but there are undoubtedly a number of companies within AIM that are doing well and will continue to do well.

Jolly, how can you say Woodford has had a poor year ? I am invested with the Woodford Equity Income fund and its up 15% this year, he may have had a couple of poor picks within but its the overall I'm interested in, am content

John Glichrist, I remember the Rurelec situation well as I was in at the time but managed to get out at break even. Similar situation that the Bolivians basically stole the asset and with the poor outcome devastated a decent company. Its the main reason I didn't invest here, I avoid court cases as they take an eternity and rarely pan out the way they should, especially in corrupt countries For those dissing the AIM there is money to be made in good growing profitable cash making and dividend paying companies, and where most of my trades are made these days, unfortunately the good end of AIM ony accounts for about 5% of the total so they all get tarred

and still 'in-line with expectations', this will recover slowly over the next few imo

nice recovery from what was it 0.50 ? I wouldn't normally advise averaging down but I do hope some of you managed to get a decent average at the bottom

sorry Jaz, I sold out a couple of days before results, was waiting for a hopeful rise into results which never came, and I didnt particularly like the use of the 'satisfactory' term in the last trading update,I think some of the profits were down to exchange rates from recollection, and wasn't that confident of good Xmas sales up against Star Wars, also these companies can be a bit cyclical, so with profits in excess of 100% and much as I like to hold my winners when I can I wasn't going to risk it. Hope I'm wrong and good luck to all holders

I would agree to an extent Eco, but while the market is left in an uncertain situation I can't see it recovering yet, you could mark it down as the first of a 3 part profits warning. I have to admit to being extremely lucky with my sell out of 3.75 on the 19th having had a good ride from my initial buy at 2.23, pure fluke only because I couldnt see much more uplift in it yet, and then the Autumn statement hit. I see Robbie Burns has this at a stop loss of 280 so could be good value at these levels, but I'll be waiting personally though I do like the company and the dividend

sorry I didnt fully explain my reasons I was puzzled. Last 2 holdings rns from l&g have them going up over 5% (todays not showing here), and October showing them going below 3%

if they get the fundraising away for $6.5m the cash will be way more than mcap of £2.5m, have I read that right ? what's the catch ?
