Very true and some valid points Cherokee, there are however potential positives such as, build acceleration, increased MOP and SOP prices and yet more positive agronomy results to name a few, just to give a balanced view :0)

I agree calamari, however the financing has always been the Achillies heal for Sirius.
The physical work has always been impressive. I'd suggest that the physical work to date (albeit mainly above ground) has been nothing short of impressive and if funding can be found that this behemoth of a project will indeed be a succuss story..,!

I wholeheartedly agree LL, can we get the bonds away without further dilution, possibly, possibly not, however if we can secure Stage 2 and the RCF then all current investors should be OK.
IMO

I agree Milo the bond buyers smell blood and SM have detailed what we require but they still want to buy bonds and so there surely is a negotiation about rates.
SM could well be the safest HY Bond investment about at present so I don't think the buyers will have it all their own way, at least I hope not..!

Spenny, a few very basic questions i look at before I think of digging deeper into a company are;
Product Volumes - 100 years worth - Tick
Product Effect - Agronomy results - Tick
Board Experience - Extensive - Tick
Board committment - plenty of skin in the Project - Tick
Location - UK - Tick

This isn't advice in any way but just a few things that I'm sure most peeps look at initially and you probably have too..!

Thechuckers, when I read the RNS this morning the first thing I thought was, this wont make much change to the SP.
It obviously did initially but it drifted back...!
I honestly think that the market will only respond positively to some definite good news stories, commercial gas flows and PPA agreements are the only things that will get this moving.
Now I'm still confident this will come good but it does feel a little like Chinese drip torture at the moment...!

I'm just thinking aloud, I'm thinking, could JPM be the counterparty, they've got the financial backing, they have a vested interest in these bonds getting away...!
If this is possible, would it also be possible for the counterparty to pass on a charge to SM for the "service" provided and to ensure the bonds go..?
