I don't like the "Project finance is expected to be effectively split into tranches" or " the Company is evaluating both debt and equity funding options or a mix of both" seriously reminds me of the Sirius Minerals debacle.
That potentially means the lenders are in control of finance T's & C's and more shares will be issued.

I like your optimism Brad, the problem for me is that we haven't really moved on much and If and when we do I don't see enough upside to pull me level let alone buy a new motorbike. Like you I got stung by another Aussie not to long ago, I'm praying this company doesn't go the same way. The BOD need to regain peoples confidence but I also fear that this is out if their hands a little.

Well for me it's been a little disappointing I must say. Bought when the price was 3 times todays woeful sp and now this share is another bottom drawer, sit, hope and pray situation. All sounds so good on paper and in the interviews yet I feel uncomfortable with the situation now. Hopefully one day I may be able to take out what I've put in but I feel that could be some time off..!

I must admit this is a touch disappointing.
I can see this drifting back unless we get news soon. Surely TG has something close in terms of finance..!

Morning dmcdon, yes there is a strong resemblence to how this is playing out with regards to Fortescue. It's probably of little surprise based on the link between the two companys.
Let's hope they have a positive outcome this time as well..!

It does appear that now is the ideal time to get the HY Bonds sold off.
Hopefully CF & TS have it nearly sorted and are just finalising an agreeable rate for all parties.

Could it be that Sirius have got £263m away as debt but with a higher rate i.e 13,5% but now need to offer convertibles with a lower rate to get the job done..?
It would tie in with reports of having to offer up equity for a part of the stage 2.

I know Sirius have carried out extensive work with specialists and their own geophysicists and design teams on the underground mapping in order to understand the rock formations and sub-surface characteristics along the length of the TBM route.
