Well if AE shares are null and void based on the deal falling through then maybe the company have covered themselves.
I keep saying that this deal must have been the reason why AE got such a favourable deal in the first place.
If the company have a caveat to say if the deal does not go ahead then I'd be much happier.
Is this legally possible and if so what would happen to the money AE paid for the shares they got for a song...?

Would it be fair to say that some of the CBM would be removed from the coal beds before the actual coal was used or are there coal beds that are methane free..?

Mike, I'd suggest they sold their shares at circs 6p making a packet in the process.
I'm expecting a TR1 showing they are no longer shareholders or at least have reduced their holding considerably.
Kind of hope I'm wrong in one way, on the other hand it would be good to see the back of them.
Like I said, if this has happened it's poor management and should have been covered off.

In addition shareholders should have been protected from this sort of situation, it's quite embarrassing.

Peeps were wondering why the SP wasn't pushing higher and I put it down to who we were doing business with.
I didn't like the connection between AE and PT but didn't go with my gut feeling and get out unfortunately.
So would we say the chances are AE have seriously reduced their holding if not gone all together. Would we be expecting a TR1 in the coming days..?

I'd be amazed if wobble head Manini had anything lined up.
TM is correct in that a placing will now be required.
Oh well back in the bottom drawer for another 2 years.
And after such extensive DD from the Board as well, lol, you couldn't make it up.

In addition I've not read anything regarding how the 100 MW would be allocated but TLOU are happy with an initial 10 MW and growing from there from my understanding.
If we can get connected and producing 5MW then we can apply to joim the SAPP and sell direct as a member. I'd hope Tony and co woildn't tie us in with the BPC for more than this as the potential upside of this project would be reduced.
In addition, even with the share increase over the last few years the upside is still huge here if we get connected with a 10MW PPA and favourable finance terms, like with the BPOPF IMO

Thanks mrmoagi, I wouldn't disagree with any of that analysis.
For me there has obviously been some reasons/committments made to give TLOU a renewed confidence of getting this project up and running as the RNS didn't really offer anythinh new.
IMO if the 10MW PPA is obtained then we move forward with finance and tenders both of which would have already been modelled possibly with 3 point fair estimates if not fixed price contracts.
Sounds easy but rarely is., however a great deal of work has been achieved, it's up to Botswana now..!
One thing I strongly believe is this is now moving to an end game either way.

Mrmoagi, the signed interim PPA is an agreement to supply the BPC with 2 MW agreed.
As for the PPA for 10 MW that is still to be negotiated, are you assuming all 10MW of power will be contracted to the BPC..?
If so is this stated somewhere or is this just always the case..?
As I'm sure you're aware we don't need anywhere near 10MW to allow us to attempt to become a member of the SAPP..!
Is it possible that TLOU could be negotiating say the first 5MW to go to the BPC with favourable conditions and then to allow the company to sell 5MW independantly..?

I know I keep saying it but I can't believe he's let 20% of the company go for a song. I honestly think the discussions of the PT WIN deal were part of the mix back then for the deal to be so favourable in their favour.
I guess time will tell.

Lol fastfood, that sounds about right.
The problem is the contract appears to have been appalingly managed from TM and co and dare I say it agreed with an element of trust.
Whilst I agree the Chinese may be involved, why not just deal with Asiamet direct..?
Also AE may be mopping up shares but the volume doesn't appear to back that up either.
I hope I'm way off course but however you look at it this has been so badly managed it's incredible IMO.
