I agree Yeboha. Just take a look at AGL, for example, the SP went mental yesterday (up 130%) and it’s on the rise again today. The sharp increase in AGL’s SP was from very depressed levels, but it shows just how quickly sentiment can change.

At the present time there is no need to test each tumour via a biopsy. In future it may be helpful to have a companion diagnostic to identify the most suitable patient population for any particular pre|CISION chemotherapy but that is not the plan for AVA6000.

Might be worth adding that as well as existing generic chemo therapies, AS also mentioned the potential for utilising more “modern” therapies that haven’t been able to be used due to toxicity issues.

“…cytotoxic development has moved on a lot in the last decade and there are now numerous, more potent modern cytotoxics that could never be given as systemic chemotherapies because of the toxicity, so they could be delivered potentially as pre|CISION chemo therapies. And we believe it makes a lot more sense to select the most potent and effective cytotoxics than simply go down a list of old generic chemo therapies. But I'm sure it will be a combination of those two approaches that delivers the most pre|CISION drugs to patients in the long term.” (Data update Q&A session).

Just out of interest, this what Chris Coughlin said during the Q&A session regarding the two weekly dose trials. I think we may see a mix of pre-treated and non treated patients.

“ We have revised the criteria in the update to the protocol. But recall, in the every two weeks arm, this is still a phase one trial and we're still going to be seeing patients with prior lines of therapy. But we have updated, in that patients without prior therapy in the metastatic setting can be enrolled in the trial. And so, we're looking to update and move forward with that every two weeks regimen.”

Maybe some substantive news on Imutex next year? They merit a mention in an article published today.

Hi JT, the projected timings are still a bit unclear to me. This is what AS said in his summary prior to the Q&S session, and it’s about 25:25 into the AGM.

Gilly, I agree with you regarding the timeline for the AVA3996 IND filing being the back end of next year. That was the guidance AS gave at the AGM and again in the more recent poster teach-in presentation in October. “And we remain on track for an IND filing, and dosing first patients towards the back end of 2024”. It’s the t second last paragraph in the transcript which is under the video on the attached link.

And Bitl we will have to agree to disagree regarding Albert who I have some respect for. His mistake was allowing Oph too much influence. I have no respect for Ophidian, he has weakened his own position and is trying his hand at the classic divide and rule tactic. The TG is a soft target and we all know Oph harbours a grudge. I don’t trust his motives at all.

You & I both know, regarding Albert, that the group the is not dominated by chartists, there has been barely a reference recently. Albert does not manipulate the group. Ophidian, has sown a few seeds of mischief with his little, sly, defamatory, cryptic slurs.

The only manipulation is by Ophidian who has an axe to grind. He is unbelievably petty and spiteful. The one mistake that Albert made was giving Ophidian too much power which he ultimately abused. People like Ben & Gge should never have been removed from the board purely because Oph threw a hissy fit and demanded it. I remember the day well with Ben and I was ashamed to be on the board. Sorry Ben, self interest meant I kept my mouth shut and I regret that.

Hi Miavoce, I’m also cautiously optimistic for next year, albeit somewhat frustrated by AN’s missed timelines. I’m interested about the purpose of the scheduled January Proactive meeting, I don’t think it would be planned if there is bad new horizon.

Miavoce, you posted the below on the 9th September. Unfortunately only one of the six materialised which was the PD-L1 assay (plus the Portrait+ Kit). AN is notorious for missing timelines, some of which are out of his control but also (frequently) ones that are. He is losing credibility. The only other announcement of note was the revenue warning/business update in November.

I don’t agree Oph with your comment “Greed and self interest” that you made in relation to a post from cj62. I love what AVCT is doing but it is still an investment. I give money to charities, but AVCT is a company on the stock market, one with a huge potential to do good, but I would also like to make a profit on my investment. Are you implying that you have no “self interest”?

Chab, I have always liked your posts and let’s face it the last three years have been a disaster for LTH’s. My bad timing meant I initially invested the day before DT was pushed and lost 40% of my investment pretty much overnight when the SP crashed. Any attempt to average down just resulted in ever widening (considerable) losses.

I also share a lot of FX’s views. To preempt the question - why don’t I sell if I don’t have faith in my investment? Well the answer is I only have a small holding now, I have “mentally” written off the loss and I am interested in the eventual outcome.
