Stokey. I've attached a link showing the various docks in Belfast Harbour. It doesn't show the actual berth codes but you can see the port locations on the harbour map and link this to an actual ship on the vesselfinder.com site.
The port codes we want to see occupied in H & W are BDD (Belfast Dry Dock) where Stenafast VIII is currently berthed and is the smaller of the two H & W docks. Another is BBD (Belfast Building Dock) and the larger dock where Oceanex Connaigra is currently dry docked. The SRQ (Ship Repair Quay) is the one referred to earlier where the Viking and Seatruck are berthed.

BD1 is Barnett Dock and although in Belfast Harbour estate, it's not a dock with any link or usage by H & W.
Stokey. SRQ is the ship repair quay. It's part of the H & W site in Belfast harbour and where the remaining Viking Cruise ship is also berthed.
Great post Stokey. It's good to get an update directly from yard manager on the works being completed on Oceanex.
Thanks for all your ongoing info posts recently as well, they're all greatly appreciated.
I see on the Belfast harbour website that Stena Superfast VIII is due to leave on 2nd October and Superfast VII is due to dry dock on 3rd October.
It's always good to see the docks being utilised without any gaps in ships present.
(Oceanex Connaigra is scheduled to leave on 6th October).
Apologies if my ongoing posts of shipping movements are sometimes tedious and any comments or thoughts such as 'saddo ship spotter' will be taken on the chin. I draw the line at train spotting though (unless INFA decide there's money in working on them there locos).

Ta for posting this Chris. It's great to get some knowledge on the actual works going on in the Yard. That's certainly specialised and comprehensive works that are being completed. The fact that these works weren't on the original scope of works is a bonus for H & W in getting this work.
It's been said by others previously (including myself), that maintenance contracts may not be the profitability earners that new builds could be. This is maybe an excellent example though that by taking ships in for a maintenance 'oil and filter change' , that this can lead to getting additional works and earnings.
Cheers Speedy and Daws for that, and obviously Jab asking the question re the Tr1.
I just Googled Stephen Roser and WOW, that's one impressive work life CV this guy has. His knowledge and experience in the oil, gas and energy sectors is extensive. An investor like that increasing his holding is massive encouragement for me.
Ps - If you're reading this Stephen, I hope it didn't sound patronizing singing your praises, and honestly I'm not a stalker with my Googling of ya, lol. Maybe you might even pop a wee post on with some thoughts on where you see us (INFA) being and maybe going. Cheers.

No probs BT. I don't see it that way though BT that H & W have an over reliance on Stena. Stena announced back in July a contract worth 2.5 million to carry out repairs and upgrades to 6 Stena ferries. I believe JW has previously said they need around 25 million turnover to break even this year. If that figure's achieved, Stena won't be be a massive percentage of that.
Stena have been dealing with H & W for 40+ years now. Personally i regard them as a good customer providing a steady stream of repairs and maintenance work (and therefore income), but not a customer that is going to dramatically affect any massive share price rise. Now if they started to use H & W to build their ferries that would be a game changer. They're having 2 E-Flexer ferries being built in Weihai, China at the minute.
Dohhhhhhh ! ! (Cheers Tango, lol)
The Belfast Harbour website shows all the marine traffic in and out of Belfast docks, which includes the docks in Harland & Wolff.
According to this site the Stena Superfast VIII is due to leave tomorrow from Belfast Dry Dock (BDD) and Oeceanex Connaigra is scheduled to leave Thursday 30th Sept from Belfast Building Dock (BBD).
The vesselfinder.com site is useful to see vessel details and positions of the ships, and the Belfast Harbour site is a good site to see movements in and out for 7 days in advance. I've posted the Belfast Harbour site below for anyone interested. (The 'Traffic Expected' tab is where you see the ship arrivals and departures).

Whatamess. There was a post put on this morning where a named INFA individual was called a 'con artist'. This post was rapidly removed as i imagine it was reported. I'm assuming you didn't see this post, hence it's understandable you highlight to me that there needs to be a named individual for a libellous event to occur. I'm not giving an opinion on whether calling someone this term is potentially libellous, but there was a named individual called this earlier today.
As to your comments on your VPN connection being untraceable by any world authority ? There's a level of accuracy on this however you need to have the confidence your VPN provider doesn't disclose your details. There's a few other issues to consider but they're not share related and i'm not going there.
UK defence secretary Ben Wallace calling the FSS's 'warships' is a great boost to UK ship building. Being classed as warships they have to be built in the UK.
For INFA (and Team Resolute) , a very encouraging comment from the defence secretary yesterday in Parliament was 'We intend to encourage international partners to work alongside UK firms to bid, which will build on the success of Type 31' .
The below link is from Naval Technology and makes interesting reading. My thoughts are that it's only down to 2 bidders for competition to gain this contract. The Bab****/BAE/CL/RR consortium and Team Resolute (with INFA).

I'm amazed that individuals think they can be anonymous in online forums, chats, blogs, etc. I won't go into detail, but folks please DON'T believe or be confident that a web proxy can hide your IP address (especially with a lot of the free proxy servers available online).
For most people they don't need to be concerned, however if anyone posts illegal, defamatory or libellous comments, then please believe me, in most circumstances they can be traced by the relevant authorities.
Obviously law enforcement will have no interest in negative comments on a shares forum but when those comments cross the line with any of the above, then they may take an interest if a complaint is made to them.
Also, don't feel that if a post is removed or deleted that all is fine, it only needs to be there for literally a second to be an issue.
My motivation for writing this post is simply to remind us all that despite our strong feelings on many individuals and many subjects, we all need to be mindful that our actions can have consequences.
Again folks. No one please believe you are totally anonymous on this or any forum.
I'm in Bangor (Co Down) today and watched the Viking Sea cruise past Ballymacormick Point a short time ago. This big gurl is an impressive sight. Hopefully we'll see her back in Belfast soon.
Just putting a post on here to break your run of posts 77, lol.
I'm still invested here but goodness me it is so boring to watch the share price do nothing. It's more or less predictable to click in each day and see it unchanged.
Their AGM is next week so let's see if anything from that can pop some positive momentum to this.
Dawski. I heard one of the Viking ships was going from a guy in one of the FB groups.
I also see now that it's on belfast harbour page. If you pop ' bookings, belfast, harbour' into Google and go to the traffic tab, its shows there that the Viking Sea is leaving on the 19th Sept.
I believe Stena Superfast Vlll will be moving to the dry dock on Friday.
I can't confirm it but I'm also told one of the Viking ships is leaving this weekend. Hopefully it's making room for something else to come in.
For anyone on Facebook, there's a group there called 'The Shipyard'.
There's some great pics posted there today from the guys working in H & W where they've stripped the shaft and hub from the Oceanex Connaigra. It's a 50 ton shaft and one heavy looking lump of metal that's been removed.
I thought this might be of interest to some folks here.
If there's someone else that's more tech savvy than me and can repost these photos here please feel free to do so.
Cheers Lottie. You've quite a CV. It's always good to get an outlook from folks with experience in markets or an insight into INFA activities. Peeps like yourself and Daws are good to have have in the chat here.
I simply regurgitate what I read and being the optimist (that most AIM investors are), I'm always looking for the positives.
On the subject of positives and referring back to your post Lottie on pollution, propulsion and hull design, this is an article from 3 months ago on just that. Not linked to INFA, but being made in Belfast and in the same harbour as H & W. Who knows what the future holds with this.
