I'm thinking a decent rioja will see me through ;-).
Genuinely excited to see how the difference in price between us and USA is translated, but am mindful of the possibility that the prices do not immediately jump to meet each other. There was a period a few weeks ago when the American price was above ours for a week or so.
@TBoB I've seen this article before. It's speculative. Fair enough they were correct in their previous speculation, and I hope that they are again, but there is no evidence there yet.
I've not seen any solid proof. Hopefully we get something down the line.
49600 and counting..
I admit to being slightly nervous about the reaction of it hitting 50k. It's just such a nice round number for people to potentially take profits in the short term. Fingers crossed BTC can do what BTC does and surprise me by smashing on through.
Hey Dobbo, my take on this is that the break of $2 did two things:
1. Broke old all time high and hence allowed for price discovery.
2. Meant that the Americans believed that we are going to the Nasdaq and hence they are front running the expected re-rate.
All only imo of course.
Enjoy the Friday feeling, but see my other post.. This is not the prize.
By my guestimations we are 3to 5x undervalued in comparison to Mara and Riot.
We look like we are off to the NASDAQ over the next couple of months.
BTC could realistically hit double its price over the next 4 months (maybe higher of course, but I try to be conservative in my optimism). We are a leveraged play on BTC. So if BTC x2 then we could reasonably see a x3. (Again possibly more.).
We get to a 3x3: 9 times current price IF we get to the NASDAQ, IF BTC doubles and IF the market continues to behave in the same fashion.
That is the prize.
Going to disagree with you there Summers. By my reckoning we are still 3-5 times under rated in comparison to Riot and Mara, who are on the NASDAQ of course.
I think we will be there soon and the rerate to our peers is the one that I'm looking forward to. This is nice, but it's not the prize.
Agree totally. My sense of this is that things have been prepared to enable an application as soon as we meet the requirements.
I think it is clear that ARB want to list on the NASDAQ. PW said all that he could on the matter. It's now just meeting the requirements.
This doesn't seem to be reported anywhere else. If this were true then it would be amazing, but I'm holding out for confirmation. Until then I don't believe this.
@Enrico.. that is not accurate.
To paraphrase the question asked on the quarterly GM call ' competitors have bought BTC, are there any plans for GM to do the same?
The response? "No, we are not looking at buying BTC. There is nothing stopping us from exploring accepting it, but we are not doing so at the moment".
Pretty clear. Not sure how that was misunderstood.
@hehe - on chain metric show between 30 and 33k for Tesla buys. Please don't ask me for the link - google it if you need the original articles.
Tiny numbers. It's nothing to worry about. I would not expect it to have any impact.
@Gultekin Genuine question - what is it about Doge that makes you want to invest in it?
As others have said, we are not only holding our coins but have gone out and bought more for the treasury.
It's not shoddy. It is a deliberate and contrived misrepresentation.
The Telegraph is owned by the Barclay family who are estimated to be worth £7billion. Such people have no desire for new money to be made when they haven't got their snouts in the trough.
Wow is the word. F*ck yes!
