I like to think you are right and hopefully you are.
the other way to look at it could be that Noble have managed to secure Rig directly without HE1 (hence why Noble still very confident for Spud in Q3, and silence from HE1) and HE1 now on the outside struggling to find another Rig even though Minch and Lorna both indicated there are plenty other options. Of course I hope I am wrong.
And I am gobsmacked on what they have been doing for 2 years. I mean this is all a bit ridiculous isn't it. Stinks of incompentence - 2 years and no rig confirmed - and even now, they are obviously struggling.
IMO the reality is that SPUD is delayed.
But Lorna has indicated she has multiple options on the go so if one option fails, she can switch to another option until signed. Remember we also have a hugely experienced board of directors and with their wealth of contacts in the business as well as their years and years of experience behind them, so we should be in a great place with all this. They have it all in hand. They have had months and months to prepare for all this so we can take great comfort in their skills and experience helping this project along in a positive way...
It is crucial to promptly disclose any information that could significantly impact the share price. Delaying the release of such information increases the risk of insider trading and can harm the company's reputation. For instance, if an announcement is made later in the day that indicates a major setback, it could be linked to a significant sell-off that occurred earlier. While isolated instances might be overlooked, a pattern of high-volume selling coupled with the board withholding adverse information would raise suspicions of allowing insiders to exit positions before the news becomes public. Therefore, by failing to update the market, they are exposing themselves to substantial risks in the event of adverse news.
Come on - end of week RNS would be GOLD - one hour left --- fingers crossed!!
Would be RNS when market closes today confirming the contracts are signed, rig is being mobilised, Spud still on for August. BOOM! Would be an amazing weekend ahead as a result ....
This is a fantastic opportunity for Lorna to really hit the big time in her career and years ahead - I struggle to come to terms with this could be a failure. Surely she would get this one sorted out for us - SURELY....... I mean, she has Ian, she has the Board, she has her own wit and ambition - its not rocket science to get the drill - Lets hold on and HOPE - gosh... what a dramatic ride HE1 is....
Maybe a MEGA deal is being worked on hence the silence - dont ask me what but you know - sometimes these things happen and it goes BOOM!
Yeah I really dont understand why they havent tweeted or anything to show they are actually alive - its weird and really bad practice IMO. CEO should definitely be upbeat and engaging with shareholders. The silence is astounding.
This should now be a time of celebration - I know if they secure the rig I am going to be very happy and for sure do a bit of celebrating. The HE1 mgmt team are a wet blanket to my plans - I am extremely hopeful of an RNS ASAFP.
5.72 is a wicked price - awesome opportunity really as we know this will FLY soon.... if Lorna is keeping to her word to secure us the drill for TAI
An oil painting of MINCH on the wall hanging on an angle.... a stack of old HE1 presentations shoved in the plastic bin...
Just an empty bottle of whiskey on the table
It is concerning that they have not shared any positive information, such as site preparation photos or other reassuring updates that dont need RNS, to instill confidence that the situation is under control. The lack of positive communication from HE1 adds to the unease and uncertainty surrounding the company's current circumstances....I dont feel we have a leader... a proper leader would be engaged to all stakeholders and that includes shareholders..
What does OILMAN JIM think about HE1 comms strategy? Does he give much insight of thought or does he focus more on eventual discovery of HELIUM?
IMO - once all agreed, it will have to go NOBLE first as they are ahead time-wise and/ or they RNS after market closes so therefore would be at the same time as HE1 RNS. Therefore the only times we can expect an update RNS will be 7am for HE1 I dont see them doing a release of news during UK market hours - but I may be wrong!
Obviously news needs to be released super soon - I wonder what the news will be!? I sincerely hope it is as planned and no shocking update again it would be agonising to fail at this time given the HE1 history with failure and a few sudden op update RNS stating adverse developments....
Is there any chance that Noble and HE1 have fallen out over their planned collaboration and that could be the reason for HE1's silence vs Noble's outspoken confidence?
He1's communication strategy I would rate as POOR.
They could have easily released some simple Tweet updates, pictures from the site, prep work going on, etc - its just basic stuff and they dont see why they should say anything at all until they have a contract in place. There are loads of other things they could update shareholders on. Loads that don't need RNS.
Like Minch, unfortunately current leads at HE1 dont really have much regard for the SP and the mood around it. This should be a really exciting time for everyone associated with HE1
The only thing we have to go on is Noble CEO saying in an interview at end of last week that Q3 drilling on. He wouldnt have said that at that time if there was a major problem I am sure. So at that time, I think it was Thursday, we can assume that all is fine. But they are indeed taking it right to the edge of the seat here. If they have problem getting a drill after 2 years then clearly something very wrong with these people. If they pull it off - then PHEW.
