Big rises for the bus operating firms today... Stagecoach +12%, Go-Ahead +7%, First +4.6%, and of course not forgetting NEX at +10%. Hopefully a sign of confidence in the public transport sector.
Will Bandy steady the ship, or is it time to man the lifeboats. Next 4 months and we'll all find out. I'm no longer invested but interested to see how it plays out. Good luck
Just 2 different but valid ways of accounting for multiple buys of the same share. Either combine the lot into one big pot with an average price, or treat each purchase individually. Not rocket science, just down to personal choice.
Paddy, you're talking about 2 separate share purchases combined to one amount and averaged out to one value, whilst noggers considers his 2 purchases as separate (may well be in 2 separate accounts). So 2 pots of shares, one of which had 10000 bought at 145 and sold at 151, hence a profit on that pot.
They will still be listed on ASX even if delisted from AIM, not that thats much use to holders here. No idea what the rules are down under regarding cash shells.
and just to add to my previous post, I chose to sell all my RMP shares on that news. I made the most of yesterday's spike but still lost a few hundred in my investment. Just don't trust Bandy to come up with anything decent when the clock is ticking. Best of luck to anyone staying invested. DYOR etc etc...
With no investments RMP is just a cash shell at the moment, so AIM has given them 6 months from mid July to either reverse takeover another co, or raise £6M and relist on AIM as an investment company. If that doesn't happen then RMP will be delisted from AIM and I assume shareholders will lose their money.
So either reverse takeover with the risk of diluting what little RMP has in a new company, or raise £6M and become an investment co and re-admit to AIM. Both by year end. Hmmm. I sold earlier for a loss of a few hundred quid. Rather take the loss now than risk a potential de-listing later. Theres quicker money yo be made these days than fannying about with these AIM cowboys.
Can see Bandy panic buying, or having his pants pulled down over any deal now. Clock is ticking and any potential joint venture will know this. One wonders if Bandy forgot (or knew) about this AIM rule when he chose not to take our only project any further.
Plenty of action overnight down under with those 2 companies mentioned by kalahari11 . Nowt with RMP though. Let's hope Bandy can pull something tasty out of the bag... not getting my hopes up though.
