The mask is way too expensive for a type IIR mask, regardless of how much better it is, and its not an FFP3 mask. The lack of sales in a worldwide pandemic just highlights that. Its a niche mask with a limited market at its current price.

Sorry to hear that. Good luck. Did you not use the P2F mask, or provide it to your staff? Not having a go at you, just your situation isn't the best advert for a covid killing mask from someone invested in this for a while.

The initial hype over this share was for a 5 ply mask... bigger boat, 5M masks a month, contracts lined up was all based on a 5 ply mask. Since that was binned at the start of the year sales for the 4 ply (that we know of) have been mediocre at best. Now that 5 ply is back on the table let's hope we can capitalise this time. I will certainly be wearing a mask after July 19th.

I use East Midlands Railway frequently and have never been on a train where everybody uses a mask. You got lucky travelling between Notts and Bedford. Trains, planes and automobiles definitely need masks to be worn, but will be impossible to enforce.

Unfortunately this highlights the problem with our mask, too expensive for a type IIR mask, not air tight enough to be classed as a FFP3 mask. It's a niche mask and the sales (or lack of) show this.

On current form only way this is getting to 3p is with a share consolidation. Please keep it real if you're going to start BS threads without any reasoning about hitting 3p

Covid clearly isn't going away. Confuses me why people keep posting links to say this as if the P2F mask will stop it. We have a niche product and the sales so far prove that (ie.. few contracts and dist. deals). Future (hopefully) lies with whatever the Dr and Volz are developing.

Can't see the machine at bio city being commissioned causing the sp to jump to 3p. P2F have said its not needed to fulfill large orders, which are outsourced to Volz. It's big, repeat orders and contracts that will get this share out of the doldrums. New (unspecified) products are in development so there some way off from being an earner. One for the bottom drawer now.

We know that P2F and Volz have been developing an anti-viral material for use in filters. Buildings and transport have been mentioned as possible uses. The reason for this post is I've noticed that National Express coaches are now advertising a '3 stage filtration system' on the outside of their coaches (blue round sign on the door). After a quick look at their website they've installed an air filtration system to all their coaches, as part of the coaches air conditioning system. This could be a massive market if tapped by P2F / Volz. On current form I'm not wholly convinced P2F can do this but stranger things have happened.

There won't be any more lockdowns, unless there is a serious mutation in CV19. We (UK) are on top of a vaccination program plus a booster shot program will start shortly. Rest of the world is up for debate so we will see. P2F have had modest sales to date so again not confident. New products in development but only proof of concept so many many months from any sales.

We hit 7p last year, but since then we've had significant dilution (placing, freebies) and the above vaccination campaign. Any big rise gets sold into (as per last few weeks). Will take massive massive news to get anywhere near 7p now.

Have written this off now. Hope to be proved wrong

From the 9th June RNS... "and the Board is confident that the machine should be fully operational by early July. With the machine at BioCity unable to meet the anticipated demand, the Board outsourced the manufacturing of the mask to Volz Filters UK"

Redundant is probably the wrong word, I meant it's not needed to fulfill orders. Was that story last week about the machine being removed from site proved to be BS?

The machine in Nottingham is redundant , Volz are producing the mask. You're clearly a bit simple confusionboy, you keep posting the same rubbish regarding the Nottingham machine, it's not needed to fulfill orders.

Are the 5 ply masks for sale yet? Or are the few retailers we have only selling the 4 ply? Cave kept tweeting last year that 4 ply was for general use, 5 ply aimed at healthcare sector. Be interesting to see if the 5 ply mask gets RMS any contracts

They haven't banned masks, just it will be personal choice from July 19th.
